Waterfront holiday rentals in Old-West

We stayed 5 nights in this apartment. Everything was super clean and well maintained and was in a really nice environment. Carolin was very friendly and answered all questions quickly. We will be happy to come back.

The positive surprises started right away with our arrival, so that we could move into a larger and more beautiful apartment in the house without extra charge or anything like that, simply because it was free. Pierre is extremely courteous and always in a good mood. Before we could even ask, he offered to recommend activities or restaurants in the area. The apartment was super clean and very nicely furnished, everything you need was available in abundance and Pierre responded immediately to inquiries or requests. Check-in and check-out are easy and flexible. If we are drawn to the area again, we will gladly return to Pierre! Simply recommended!

Nice, rather new, house in a nice area. Everything was OK, supermarket and restaurants nearby. The communication went perfect. We can recommend this place!

Juliane's apartment is small and fine. Easy to reach from the main train station by public transport. Walking distance to the Karl-Heine Canal. Perfect for a short (or longer) stay in Leipzig. The bed is cozy and the small kitchen offers everything you need to quickly prepare something or just have a coffee or tea. Very friendly and accommodating communication in addition. I would come back.

Mega place! Very easy check in, great location, great amenities. The apartment was very clean and modernly furnished. We will definitely be back. It was beautiful.

Close to the city and yet quiet and relaxed, a little gem. The accommodation has everything you need and more...like balcony, washing machine, teapot and much more. It is very neat & clean and once you get 🦚 used to the peacock you can chill out super... I felt very comfortable and spent more time in the accommodation than planned, simply because it invites you to come to yourself and to distance yourself from the stressful everyday life. The landlady is an experienced yoga teacher and, if you like, you can get further support in "coming down" and will be well advised here, as well as on the topic of "establishing healthy sleep habits"...as we know, healthy sleep is the basis for so much...whether we are well or not...whether we get sick or not, etc. So if you want to do something for yourself and for personal relaxation, you've come to the right place.

Calm and beautiful place

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. The location was quiet and great for unwinding. The place was clean, well equipped and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We particularly appreciated beautiful views, the cozy decor, the friendly host. We would come back anytime and can highly recommend the apartment!

Our stay at "Der Waldwiesen" was great. The highlight was the cozy fireplace. The kitchen is excellently equipped and invites you to cook together and end the evening with a good meal. Everything was clean, stylishly furnished and thought out in detail. The property offers just the right mix of comfort and feel-good charm. We enjoyed every minute and are looking forward to our next visit!

A little paradise by the water! Our stay was simply fantastic. Sybille is a wonderful host – warm, helpful and always quickly accessible. From the beginning, we felt like we were after 3 weeks of holiday ;) When we arrived, we could hardly believe our eyes: the house is really right on the water! Looking out over the lake in the morning from bed and starting the day with this tranquility – that was pure luxury. The location is hard to beat: absolutely idyllic and yet close to everything you need. A bike path runs right outside the door, perfect for road cycling.
There are restaurants right by the lake within walking distance – and a fish sandwich stand that we already miss. Well-equipped house directly on the lake with a large bathtub, great kitchen & garden. Ideal for nature lovers & families. Between Markkleeberg & Cospudener See, Leipzig can be reached quickly by train. Clean, quiet & inexpensive – an absolute insider tip! We will definitely be back! Thank You!

Everything was amazing and exactly as described. Beautiful place, gorgeous views, private access to the water and absolutely tranquil. A bit hard to find. Amazing place, particular during summer time -warm weather. Loved every minute.

A great place to stay for a break. The location of the house is captivating due to its proximity to the adjacent lake, offering a lake view at any time of day. 😉

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic house! We were particularly impressed by the in-house sauna. A real highlight was also the small stream directly on the property, where you could swim wonderfully. Thomas and Beate are very warm and attentive hosts who made our stay even more special with their friendly manner. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful time in Thomas' apartment. The apartment is very nice, bright and has a huge garden that we could share. The lake is just a stone's throw away and we had a lot of fun (including with the SUPs that we were able to borrow from Thomas). Thomas was always responsive to us and welcomed us very lovingly. A big recommendation:)
