Monthly Rentals in Old Alresford

A beautiful cottage just outside a beautiful village! Sarah’s place was charming, perfectly clean and just as we had hoped. Located on the most elegant working farm, the cottage is a short, pretty walk along a chalk stream from the village which has beautiful buildings, and excellent shopping and eating options. Views from the cottage were lovely, walks equally so. Sarah was responsive and friendly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property.

We booked at short notice when walking St James Way/Camino Ingles. Neil was very responsive and quick to confirm the request. Directions were clear and access was straightforward. Even with the short notice, we were welcomed with cake which was much appreciated after a long day of walking. The accommodation is very well kept and ideally located for exploring the local area. Would definitely recommend to others walking the Camino.

This was a perfect spot to escape to for a weekend. The Airbnb has everything you need for a place to crash and be super comfortable. The surrounding area is gorgeous and quick to get to anywhere you fancy going within the Hampshire Downs/New Forest. Johan went above and beyond as a host when he noticed that I happened to be South African too - a really lovely touch - can’t rec his spot enough!
