Welcome to our cabin at Smines in Vesterålen! Only 25 minutes away from Sortland and 15 minutes to the nearest grocery store in Eidfjord. Idyllic sheltered seaside cabin with its own floating dock and rowing boat. All of the fishing gear and life jacket are on site! Boat will not be available from October-April! Enjoy the beautiful nature Vesterålen has to offer with hiking opportunities in the area, and dancing northern lights in autumn/winter. Keep an eye out for the wild animals that roam around; such as moose, otters, eagles, nuthatches and puffins!

If you are looking for amazing nature experiences, this is the place you dream of! Here the whole family can enjoy nature - go on a mountain hike, make a fire in the garden, find crabs by the sea or relax and enjoy a late summer evening from the terrace! Shopping opportunities 15 minutes away in the small town of Myre. If you are more into shopping, it takes 20 minutes to drive to the "blue city" Sortland, which has shopping malls. In the old fishing village of Nyksund, there is the opportunity to go on a bird safari, fishing trips by boat. Nature awaits!

Short distance to Lofoten. There are good fishing opportunities nearby. Has a boat with 9.9 hp engine. Pets allowed. I live close to the rental unit and am available.

The cabin in Hovden (Bø in Vesterålen)

Recharge your batteries at this unique and quiet accommodation where the sea meets the sky. The cabin has a beautiful location by the sea, short distance to the nearest beach, about 100 m. Great balcony with sea view. The place has three beaches. If you go south you will come to a viewpoint with midnight sun about 800 meters from the cabin, if you go north you will find the pier that you can walk out on. In this modern residence, you can seek peace and relax in a beautiful landscape. It is located rurally at the end of Eidsfjorden in Vesterålen, about 15 km from the center of Sortland. Suitable as a starting point for trips to Øksnes, Andøya, Hadsel and Lofoten. There are also great hiking/summit ski areas right outside the house. The area is rich in sea eagles and there is a high probability that you will be able to spot one. You can also rent a boat for fishing in the fjord.

Welcome to a unique holiday home in the amazing island kingdom of Vesterålen. Here you can enjoy your vacation with outdoor activities such as fishing, paddling and trips in wonderful nature. Barkestad has a good harbor with a lively fishing village, and fishing has long been an important industry in the area. It is possible to fish both from land and boat. You can get to the island by speedboat from Myre or Skjellfjorden - or your own/rented boat if you have this available.

Hytten ligger for seg selv, og likevel bare 20 km fra sentrum. 3 km til nydelig strand. Den store terrassen med utepeis utvider oppholdsarealet både sommer og vinter. Lav lysforurensing i området gir gode muligheter for å se nordlys! Grillhytte og boblebad kan fritt benyttes. Ideell for barnefamilier, par og vennegjenger.

The annex is located in the middle of Vesterålen and will be a great starting point for trips and experiences in the region, as well as Lofoten. We live right next to the annex and will be happy to help with most things The place is best suited for 2 adults and 1 child.
