The house was built in 1954 and combines a nostalgic 1950s style with modern amenities such as a well-equipped kitchen, fast wireless internet and comfortable beds. Farmorhuset is best suited for up to 5 guests, but can accommodate 6 when using an extra mattress in one of the bedrooms. The house has 3 bedrooms, 4 beds and 1 bathroom, and the entire property with garden and outdoor area is at the guests' disposal

Great beach right next to the house Great hiking terrain for both short and long hikes, The apartments are rented out separately, one with 11 beds and the other with up to 6 beds, (3 of them are intended for children) a cot can also be obtained in addition for both apartments. Can also be rented together if desired, but must be booked separately.

In Hovden there is little light pollution and it provides good opportunities to see the northern lights in the period August to March. The midnight sun lasts from mid-May to mid-July, a few weeks before and after this period the nights are as bright as the days.

The house is fully equipped and is located in the middle of Steinlandsfjorden at the foot of Langøya's highest mountain, Snykolla. In the fjord outside the house there are opportunities for good fishing from the jetty. The house is located close to the popular tourist destination Dronningruta and the fishing village Nyksund. It is also a good location as a base for exploring both Lofoten, Bø, Hadsel and Andøya.

Cozy cabin with beautiful, sheltered and cozy location in its own bay at Steinlandsfjord, 2 minutes walk on the trail from the road. The first part of the access is steep, if you have physical challenges this place is not for you. The cabin has electricity and water, with access to a camping shower in the shower cabin and sauna.
