We loved our stay - stunning view from the cabin, chilled vibes, charming local Pub we could walk to. The Queen Charlotte track /beaches /swimming , absolutely beautiful Sounds all accessible by car .

Ada’s cabin is top notch and truly a gem. The cabin has everything you need and it all worked to perfection. The cabin was spotless. The views are stunning and it’s quiet and peaceful there. Liz is a wonderful host and the hospitality is outstanding. The fridge had eggs and local treats when we arrived. We can highly recommend Ada’s cabin and will definitely come back if we are in the area.

Without a doubt, the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Possibly the best place we have ever visited. The location is awe inspiring. The view of the Sounds is incredible whatever time of day you are there. The tent is so luxurious and well appointed. Whether it’s the king size bed, the outdoor waterfall shower, the hot tub (or bath if you’d prefer), or the kitchens, you are never left wanting Cat and Gary are generous and friendly hosts but always very conscious of the privacy of their guests. Gary guided up to Turner Peak - not for the faint hearted but those who make the trek are in for a treat with views up to the North island and across the Sounds. Personal touches throughout the ‘tent’ make this place feel like home. They have thought of almost everything and we genuinely didn’t want to leave. We kayaked, fished, hiked, ordered pizza from Cat’s amazing pizza oven, and enjoyed one of Cat’s picnics. Overall, this is an experience we will remember for a lifetime.
