A great place to stay with lots of tasteful touches. Communication was great and straightforward. Had a great weekend and would be happy to come back.

Dirk’s place was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all our expectations! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Dirk himself was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the whole experience even better. He went out of his way to ensure we felt welcome and had all the information we needed. Sitio Calmo Good to relax, no noise , very clean house with all the amenities. Host always available to help , helpful and very friendly, gave us all the information, easy to get in, we were very well received and treated, in general we were extremely satisfied with the stay and would come back with certainty without doubt. 10 on 10...

We had a lovely stay at Josiane's place. It was a cozy space, beautiful garden and everything was provided. Surroundings where you can walk nicely and also the people from the neighborhood were very friendly. Nothing to complain about!

The stay was partly vacation, partly due to family reasons. The place feels like a little oasis of peace. You live right on the center of the city of Aachen, but have a place in the middle of the countryside. It is pleasantly quiet after you enter the house. The village of Vaals is a beautiful small village, which you also like to explore on foot. The warm atmosphere due to the wooden beams in the stone network of the guest house is not seen in the photos, also not the matching furnishings. Most importantly, however, is the pleasant friendly contact with the family. You can quickly ask a question about any issues and get an answer. But also just enjoy your peace in the garden if you are exhausted after experiences of local attractions. My children traveling with them wanted to continue their vacation.

Just a small feedback regarding restroom, for 7 members 1washroom is not sufficient. And after shower the water in bath tub was blocking.

We really enjoyed this gem in the Eifel. In retrospect, we would have wanted to stay a little longer. The house was sparkling clean and everything you need is there. In the evening there was a herd of deer in the garden, very nice. The only thing we didn't know is that Markus himself stayed in the downstairs house, but we have not been bothered or bothered by this. Our dog was also well thought of, towels, food and drink bowls and not to forget, you walk directly into nature. It is also ideal for children. The kitchen is easy to lock and there is a high chair and the bath is really a plus. On the balcony, we had to keep an eye on our little one that she would not fall under it. All in all, a great stay, certainly repeatable.
