Holiday rentals with breakfast in Ohakune

We had a very pleasant overnight stay.Dirk & Louise were there to greet us & made us feel very welcome. It was a chilly evening & they had the room heated for us. We had a peaceful & good sleep.The next morning they were there to say goodbye.The breakfast was nice & we would have no hesitation in returning.Thank you Dirk & Louise

Richard made things so easy albeit a last minute booking and everything was perfect. Would I stay there again? Absolutely.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Richard was very welcoming, gave us recommendations on where to swim and had the spa pool ready for us. His garden is beautiful and he made it safe for the dog to run free. It was also great to have breakfast included, with warm croissants and juice. a very special place!

The host was THE highlight! Super fun Richard made our 2 night stay unforgettable. I booked the place for mum and I as we travelled with my sister & partner who were in a caravan. Richard created a relaxed atmosphere welcoming our whole travelling party into his super cool, retro house with authentic joy & enthusiasm. We were all delighted. I accidentally booked the master suite but needed an extra bed - a comfy bed was set up immediately for me, I was so grateful. Richard allowed my sister to cook dinner for us in awesome kitchen which he kept immaculate (it got my mum’s seal of approval) and he joined us for dinner at the dining table regaling us with his stories. The bedrooms were spacious, the linen spotless & smelling fresh. We had bathrobes offered for the outdoor jacuzzi which was used both nights, What a luxury! The bathroom had best shower pressure, little things like tissue box & ear buds, a separate toilet with spray & best of all, a lovely host to chat to. We’ll be back!!

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Honor’s place — we were so lucky to find it and it answered everything that we needed. The house was immaculate and beautiful settled in a wonderful garden and less than a minute to the river and we couldn’t have had a nicer time with the perfect hosts.

I had a wonderful stay at Joanne’s who was friendly, helpful and made me instantly feel at home. We had great conversations. My room was lovely and I had a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was delicious especially due to all the homemade options. Would highly recommend to anyone. I look forward to my next visit.

Best stay since arriving in New Zealand two weeks ago. Lovely spacious rooms and bathroom with a comfy bed. Lots of little extras laid on. Lovely continental breakfast included. We really loved our stay.

Barb and Mike are amazing hosts and we had a lovely and comfortable stay at Tongariro Adventures. The national park is only a short drive away. The waterfront is a few steps away and there are amazing trails around the area. Barb and Mike’s place exceeded our expectations and their hospitality made us feel very welcome. Also, top marks for the amazing breakfast!!

I normally leave 5 stars because everything is fine or as expected, but I would leave this place 6 stars if I could. It’s far and away the best AirBnB I have stayed at. The place itself is very tranquil, homey and a great spot to unwind, yet also only 5 minutes into town for restaurants. Melana was such a great host from offering a welcome drink and snack, to giving local restaurant suggestions, to providing a choice of hot breakfast in the morning. I only stayed one night, but would definitely seek her place out again the next time I’m back in the area.

Tony’s place was awesome. Tony was super welcoming and place is nicely located. Tony got a regular from now on.

Absolutely lovely B&B after the Timber Trail. Many of the timber trail guides up in Ongarue seem to live in the area and are therefore happy to give a ride. The room was clean, comfortable, and nice artifacts and decor around the house, which feels like a French manor. (Also 3 friendly cats and a dog, and breakfast waiting for us downstairs in the morning.)

Martin is a great host, super friendly and accommodating, he also gave us recommendations to stop for our onward travel. Lovely house - comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and breakfast stuff was laid out for us. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

I stayed here with a friend before completing the Tongariro Crossing and it was a wonderful experience. I would recommend to anyone; it was comfortable and clean and our every need was met. (Even making our sandwiches ready for the crossing the next day!). The breakfast was delicious and Mary was a friendly and helpful host. Can’t wait to stay again, thank you!
