BALTHASAR RESS Guesthouse am Rebhang im Rheingau

The "Balthasar Ress Guesthouse" is the guest house of the renowned Balthasar Ress winery in the Rheingau. Primarily designed for the winery's own guests, it is also sometimes available to other guests. The architect's house is located in the "Rebhang" settlement, one of the most exclusive and beautiful residential areas in the Rheingau wine-growing region. The settlement is located at an altitude of around 400 m, around 300 m above the Rhine and is surrounded by meadows, vineyards and the forest.

Experience a breathtaking panorama of the Rhine above the rooftops of the town. The apartment is designed for two to six guests. This sunlit former mine nestles against the rock like a swallow’s nest, directly below Burg Gutenfels and along the Rheinsteig trail - far from train and traffic noise. Enjoy the shaded terrace beneath the vine arbor and the herb garden. From your secluded sun meadow, you overlook the Rhine, passing ships, and the historic Pfalzgrafenstein castle.

The apartment can accommodate up to 4 adults and 1 baby. In the bedroom, there is a queen-size bed (180 × 200 cm) and a box-spring bed (100 × 200 cm). There is a sofa bed (130 × 200 cm) in the living room. We are happy to provide a cot. Ideal for families, business travellers and groups.

Even thou centrally located the flat offers privacy and tranquility. All you need for a relaxing stay in Rüdesheim.

A vacation in beautiful nature in the heart of the Rheingau near the Schloß Vollrads and Schloss Johannisberg wineries in Stephanshausen. Please feel at home in my detached house with garden! Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

Away from short-lived trends and mass-produced goods, our accommodation stands for longevity, individuality and thoughtful upcycling. To show that a new design doesn't necessarily have to be expensive. Use your stay for a creative break, unwind while hiking in nature, and take a bit of inspiration home with you.

Studio for a romantic weekend for two

The studio is located in the heart of Oestrich and thus in close proximity to numerous restaurants, wine taverns, wineries and grocery stores such as Rewe, Netto and Aldi. 2 minutes' walk away are the Rhine with wine barrels to taste wine, a small bookstore, an ice cream parlor, a stationery store, a butcher's and an ATM each from Sparkasse, Volksbank and Postbank. Parking is also very close by.
