Guesthouse holiday rentals in Oceanside

Everything was wonderful! My daughter and I loved it. Eva and Zach truly covered every little detail! Staying here has renewed my love for Airbnb's. I have noticed that some rentals have become less personal and more of a management style. Eva and Zach were responsive and detailed to my messages. Because of all the trees and plants we felt as if we were on a tropical vacation. The pool was nice, we had it to ourselves. The inside of the home felt as if it was newly remodeled, very clean. I agree that the stairs to go up to the bedroom area are a bit steep. However, I'm clumsy and I did not have an issue. The roof top deck was peaceful. The location was perfect not far from attractions, but also away from the traffic and noise. We are hoping to make this home our annual mother, daughter spot. If I have to use one word to sum up our stay it would be Zen! Oh! And take their recommendation and eat at Uncle Tony's! Seriously the best Italian food and old school customer service.

Sue’s guesthouse is a wonderful place to stay if you are traveling to the San Diego area. The house is very clean. The house provides privacy and Sue is very responsive should you have any questions.

Great location - close to Mission and Pacific beaches but far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing. Great pizza and coffee a block away! We were there for our Granddaughters graduation so lots to do and we had our 50 year old son unexpectedly stay with us for a couple nights. Beds were very comfortable even the sofa bed he slept on. A bit crowded for 3 adults but perfect for 2. Garage is a tight fit, even for our Honda HRV.

The casita was perfect for one or two guests, intimate space but did the job. It was very clean, in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We took a walk one of the mornings to a nearby coffee shop which was very peaceful and enjoyable. The location is a short drive to downtown and the beach which was very convenient. I would stay here again.

Absolutely worth it. Beautiful place. Cozy with gorgeous gardens. Also a nice welcome touch of bowl of fruits, chocolates and plenty to drink. Loved it.

A very peaceful and spacious rental for our San Diego trip. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything you need, and the patio and backyard seating area were wonderful extensions of the space to enjoy the gorgeous weather and landscaping. Our super friendly host gave us great recommendations for adventures, restaurants, and neighborhood walks that we really enjoyed. And bonus points for Koa (doggie host) who is the absolute sweetest!

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay at Hugh’s place. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated as shown in the listing photos, and surrounded by an amazing garden. The bed was super comfortable, the location was quiet and close to everywhere we wanted to go in Encinitas. Hugh was a very welcoming host. We hope we’ll have the opportunity to stay there again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks again for a fantastic stay!

The place was exactly as described. It was clean, peaceful and private. Their landscape was beautiful with all of the different flowers. Carlos was great with communication and a pleasure to interact with. He made things as simple and straightforward as possible. We would definitely stay at his lovely place again.

Comfortable, cozy apartment with everything you could possibly need. Lovely setting that was very quiet. We were in town visiting family and did not have time to enjoy the pool and patio much but really appreciated the amenities. John and Jeanne were the best hosts we have ever had a AirBnB! The space is stunning, spacious with modern decor and beautiful views. Atoosa has anticipated everything you will need to enjoy your vacation, from coffee to complimentary snacks to free weights and gear for the beach. The bed is cozy, and the sheets silky soft. The view from the terrace is lovely and peaceful. Parking is easy, and you are just a quick drive from the cafes and beaches of La Jolla. This gorgeous apartment will surpass your expectations.

We stayed here Feb1-Mar31,2025 What an awesome time we had at Jeff & Andrea‘s casita. They are very gracious hosts. Absolutely gorgeous yard, so private & quiet. Spent our days touring around the area, so much to see and do in Poway. Del Mar Beach was fantastic, Shelby loved the beach. Would recommend this property for long stays. All amenities are top notch. Leonor is a lovely host. She is very friendly and even allow us to tap into her EV charger. The place is spotless and has tons of amenities. It is very peaceful and quiet in the area but you are not too far from places where you can visit, shop, eat,etc. We wish all Airbnb stays could be like this is. We also enjoy the company of Macaroon. A lovely stay, and would definitely stay again.

This place is a hidden gem! I attended a wedding at Monserate Winery, and it is the perfect distance between there and Temecula Inn (guests stayed there). The place was clean, and the bed was really comfortable! One suggestion would be to possibly have blinds in the bedroom :) The natural sunlight was beautiful but it was a little hard to sleep in a bit. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. We are so grateful to have been able to stay at Gwynn's place, it is so peaceful and lovely. Like a secret garden getaway. We loved all the small touches, and beauty of the space. Gwynn made us feel very welcome and comfortable! The pool is amazing and the outdoor spaces are delightful. Can't wait to stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tara Cottage. The location is stunning—set on a private vineyard, it felt peaceful and secluded, yet still close to all the Temecula wineries. It was a lovely touch to be able to purchase a bottle of Renzoni wine right in the room at the same price as the winery. We especially enjoyed learning that grapes from Tara’s vineyard are used in some of the Renzoni wines—it made the experience feel even more special. The cottage itself was beautiful and very private. Brande was incredibly responsive, kind, and accommodating with every question we had. She made us feel truly welcome. We’re already hoping to come back for another visit!

my daughter and I stayed at Susie and Britt's poolhouse for 6 nights when we were in the San Diego area for a wedding. At first we thought we would look for a beach rental but then heard that it can be foggy on the coast during May and June and going 5 miles inland can make a big difference with weather. we looked in Rancho Sante Fe because that we where the wedding venue was located and we really hit the jackpot! Everything is just as described- very relaxing times in the jacuzzi and by the fire pit in the evenings. The travel to the surrounding SanDiego sights was super easy. Highly recommend this rental!!!

Joseph is a helpful and very interesting guy. He offered a great perspective on the San Diego area. His place is comfortable and clean. It might benefit from a woman's touch re a few amenities. Highly recommended .

We had a fabulous time at the Granny Flat! Everything was pristine and Kristen has thought of every amenity. She was kind and responsive. We loved the peaceful backyard with gorgeous views. The location is super convenient and a max of 25-30 mins to anywhere else in the SD area. Our pups had a great time, too! Would love to stay here again!

This airbnb was clean, comfy, and had a lot of great amenities available. I liked that it was in walking distance of a lot of shops and restaurants. Christina was a great host, friendly and responsive. She provided good suggestions for things to do in the area. I would recommend this listing anyone looking to stay in San Diego.

The guest house on Kris’s plot was as advertised and just what we needed for our stay in North County SD. Thanks for the wonderful time! My kids had a particularly good time.
