Holiday rentals with a kayak in Oceanside

This home is fantastic. The host was very communicative and provided clear instructions and many local recommendations. The home has many amenities and easily hosted our group of 8. The close proximity to the beach and restaurants/bars cannot be beat!

We love everything about the place. So perfect for our family. We stayed with our kid and doggie. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. We will be coming back for a longer stay.

This is our second year staying at this property and we are already talking about a 2026 reservation. Love, love, love this house! It has a fabulous kitchen, relaxing and comfortable living spaces and very nice bedrooms. The outdoor space is breathtaking and has a private beach area with outdoor firepit. We enjoyed snacks and drinks on the outdoor patio as well. We can't wait to return to this wonderful beach getaway.

Maxim is a great host and went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of. I have never felt like a AirBnB host cared as much as they did. The house was well thought out, very accommodating and very comfortable. I could not have been happier with my stay and if given the opportunity, would come again without hesitation.

The place was gorgeous & right across from the beach! You could open the sliding glass door and smell the sea air, hear the waves crashing, watch the surfers! I didn’t realize it’s only about an 8 minute walk directly north up the street to downtown Carlsbad Village. Very walkable! We walked to town for coffee, ate at restaurants, got spa treatments, and shopped! Carlsbad is a great little town! The back patio is lovely: we made s’mores over the tabletop fire and relaxed in the hot tub at night. The beds were soft & comfy. The bathrooms were nice & clean. Rain shower heads! Plenty of towels. Shampoo, conditioner & shower gel available. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed & had 2 fridges. I can’t say enough about how much we liked our stay.

Lisa’s place was the perfect home base to stay in Encinitas, the backyard was a beautiful oasis and the cottage is surprisingly spacious inside. We used the space as a live/ work remote space for a week and loved our stay. Specifically the king bed was extremely comfortable for sleeping and this place is also a quick drive to everything you want to visit in Cardiff or Encinitas! Thank you!

This is a great location in Carlsbad, directly across from the beach and just a few blocks from the Carlsbad Village. The unit is recently renovated and is spotless. Wyatt is a great host who is very helpful and responds extremely quickly. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Carlsbad, this is it!

Stay here if you are visiting SD! The house is comfortable, clean, and kid friendly! Wendy/co-host was super responsive, when we had any questions. You are in a quiet neighborhood, so it was easy to just fall asleep. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Wonderful peaceful location with a great Mexican restaurant right around the corner! The outdoor spaces are especially nice and we really loved that it was pet friendly. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. It was our second visit and we will certainly look to book their place again in the future.

It was wonderful staying at Cheryl’s cottage! The location is great! The beach is a block away, places to eat a few feet away and at the same time once you’re in the cottage you feel you’re in a zen place to just relax. Would definitely rebook!

We had a great time! The location was short walk to the beach, Starbucks (bonus) 😉 and several restaurants and stores. We rented the beach cruisers and rode along the boardwalk and also on the bay side (perfect if you want less crowded spot) . Everything was organized and easy to find, clean and cozy. Definitely would stay again. 😊👍🏼

We absolutely loved our stay. The onsite amenities were so amazing. We biked everywhere. We even fit in a surfing lesson. At PB surf shop down the boardwalk at Pacific Beach. The fireplace was great because it was a little chilly at night. We even watched the DVD Zorro for family movie night while eating pizza from a pizza place just around the corner. The next night we biked to play volleyball on the bayside after a trip to the San Diego Zoo and got take out from Craft after roller coaster rides at Belmont Park. We highly recommend this place and definitely plan to come back here.

We had an incredible stay at Dawn's home in Mission Beach. She was extremely responsive before and during our stay when we had a question or needed help. The location of her home was perfectly situated for our family- closer to the bay side but only a block or so away from the ocean side. The included toys, games, and books were amazing for our seven year old. We all enjoyed a great bike ride around the bay, too! The kitchen had lots of extra small appliances and amenities that made it easy to cook many meals during our stay. The outdoor firepit and patio made for relaxing evenings with a view of the Sea World fireworks. In the listing, Dawn mentions that the garage is a tight fit for larger vehicles. Parking our minivan was very tight so we appreciated Dawn's heads up that we could keep the garage door open so that we didn't need to use street parking.
