Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Ocean View Beach

Exactly as advertised! Nice home in a great location near the beach. Francisco was very responsive, seemed like he replied immediately every time I reached out. Home was clean, quiet, and ideal for my short stay. Enough space for a small family or a few friends visiting the area. Would absolutely consider this home on my next visit to Norfolk!

Matthew’s home was beautiful and comfortable. As a group of 8 we were a little worried about space. But this spot was perfect!! Walkable distance to the beach in a quiet area. And we had plenty of room both inside and out.

We loved this place! It was beautiful, clean, and comfy. We enjoyed the close access to the beach and quiet neighborhood. It was a perfect place for our family to gather and make memories. I would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting at the military base and want to spend time on the beach!

We could not be happier to have chose Mandy & Kevin’s place for our Norfolk vacation! The home had ample space for our family to spread out and truly was SO UNBELIEVABLY WELL STOCKED. Spices, condiments, cooking spray, cleaning supplies, and so much more. Honestly, it was so wonderful knowing we had Tupperware for lunches at the beach, kid friendly plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. There was ample beach toys (the beach wagon was a life saver) and while the walk to the beach was a breeze, not all cars stop for pedestrians and tiny toddlers may not do the walk independently as easily. Overall we have nothing but positive things to say and highly recommend this spot for small families (so kid friendly!) looking for a peaceful and perfect kid friendly beach experience.

I could not wait to write a review about our stay. So much so that we are not even home yet. We had a glorious week at Bay Bliss! Bliss is the perfect description. Anywhere in this beautiful home you can hear the waves of the ocean. There was nothing better than listening to that while falling asleep on the comfiest bed in the master bedroom. Hosts were extremely responsive, helpful with local recommendations and extremely friendly. I have stayed at lot of AirBnb’s and hotels. Honestly, I have never felt so at home and I felt that way from the second I walked in the door. We will definitely be back.

My family of four had a wonderful stay at Gary’s place. The layout of the house is so cute/unique. The kids loved running around and checking out the space. They especially loved the enclosed sunroom. I believe Gary’s listing mentioned that he allows pets but the house was so clean you wouldn’t even be able to tell. My son has dog and cat allergies, we’d typically bring sheets from home to cover up furniture so he wouldn’t have a bad reaction. We didn’t have to cover anything up at Gary’s house! Sleeping space, bathrooms, and kitchen were all clean. Kitchen is stocked with essentials. The plastic bowls/plates were so useful for the kids! Beds are very firm, which was great for us. We will definitely try to stay at Gary’s again in the future.

Our family of six humans and two dogs really loved our stay! The house was perfect and the backyard space was ideal for our kids and the dogs. The short walk across the street to the beach allowed us to make morning and evening beach trips with the dogs (before 10am and after 6pm in accordance with Norfolk summer beach policies). Lots of friendly dogs and owners on the beach. During the day, there was hardly anyone on the beach and the swimming was wonderful. We will definitely look to book again in the future!

Had a great stay with 6 adults and 2 kids. Proximity to the beach was nice! The exit instructions were low key. The house looked like the pictures and was clean. A great stay for our family!

Very close to Busch Gardens as stated and easy to find. The home was very clean and had lots of brochures for nearby activities and restaurants. Everyone including myself stated having had great sleep. The host is very easy to get ahold of and quick to respond. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Location was walking distance from the Virginia Beach boardwalk and plenty of restaurants and shopping. Had a great time. Would definitely come back.

Our stay here was fantastic! Very close to the beach which you can walk to, and only a short drive away from the waterfront that has great restaurants and lots to do! The place itself was clean, quiet and the perfect size for 2 people. If you’re looking for something with great amenities for the size, and in a great location this is it!

We really enjoyed our stay at Josh & Maegan’s place right on the beach! The building is on the last block of the boardwalk, which is a great location because you can get right on the boardwalk directly outside the building, but since it's at the end of the boardwalk, it is much quieter and less busy than further down. The building is older but very well kept up, as was the apartment. The building's pool is small but nice, and there is a grassy sitting area with chairs and tables directly off the beach, which was lovely to sit at. The apartment is small (would not recommend three people squeezing in there), but perfect for two people if you are not spending much time inside and has all the amenities you need to cook simple meals. I would absolutely stay again!

I happened to be visiting during a holiday weekend while lots of events were happening in the downtown that I didn’t know about, and they were all just a short walk from this place! I would absolutely stay here and visit Portsmouth again :)

My husband and I visited Steff's AirBnB on our Honeymoon and were beyond pleased! She provided so much for her guests, including eggs and bacon for breakfast!! Her space was so clean and welcoming. It was the perfect, quiet spot for us. I found the bed to be a little too firm for my personal taste, but I still got a decent enough night sleep and I will absolutely be back if we come down to Williamsburg again. The backyard was so adorable and peaceful! I only wish the weather would have been better to enjoy the fire pit and smores kit!! Thank you Steff for having us!

Cute, clean, and cozy place! Hosts were extremely accommodating. The location is close to the beach but tucked away in a not-so-busy neighborhood, so you can walk to destinations while still having a private and quiet location. Would definitely recommend!

Dottie's place was a quiet oasis just away from the bustling downtown area. Super walkable to museums, a view of the shipyard and great bars restaurants and coffee shops. The apartment was just as described and super clean. Dottie provided all the appliances you would need for a great stay and snacks! We would stay again and highly recommend this place!

Gorgeous ocean views, great location, the balcony was the favorite spot the entire stay! Comfortable furniture, nice little cozy condo! Highly recommend the stay if you’re in the area!

Crystal's condo was spotless and an easy place to stay. Crystal was very proactive and made us feel welcome. her dinner suggestions were superb too! perfect for a weekend getaway in a resort atmosphere. Thank you so much, we highly recommend!

What an amazing stay! I've never been satisfied with an Airbnb, the photos always are so much nicer than the reality - but Big Blue was actually even better than advertised! Merlyn's communication prior to arrival made things very easy. Accessing the unit was simple, and I felt safe with the self-locking doors. The unit was clean and so comfortable, with many personal touches - I instantly felt at home. I was overjoyed when I arrived and toured the unit. Really exceeded my expectations which was such a different feeling than all the other Airbnb I've rented over the years. The beach access was tidy and pretty, the gym and beach gear a nice touch, and the foot wash station was appreciated after my morning walks with the dog. I really can't say enough great things about my stay here. Hosts were friendly and helpful every step of the way. We mostly spent our time traveling around the area from VA Beach to OBX so I can't speak much about Norfolk/Ocean View. I would def rent Big Blue again.

Gayle’s place was a great location to stay at with our dog!!! Great neighborhood to walk him in and the marina/beach is an added bonus! Gayle was very communicative and check in was easy. The space of the condo was great for a family and large dog! We will definitely be staying again!

This was our second time staying at one of Rebecca and Sean’s VA Beach condos — and the experience did not disappoint! This is just a perfect location, at the very end of the Boardwalk, with a private grassy lawn and outdoor seating just for the condo residents. Lots of restaurants in the surrounding blocks. Our favorite thing is the view — you look right out onto the ocean from the patio, and you can see the beach and the sunrise from the comfortable bed each morning. We spent unhurried hours sitting on the patio in the evenings enjoying the sound of lapping waves and the night sky. This cozy studio was just right for the two of us. Highly recommend. I’ve no doubt we’ll stay there again in the future!

Frances’ condo was in a great location right at the end of the boardwalk. We were able to get up in the morning and walk to breakfast with multiple other restaurants within walking distance. The view of the pool and ocean was nice and the condo felt bright and sunny. There was one dedicated parking spot which was nice. Everything in the condo was clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying at Kelly's place in VB. Its an ideal location for anyone who wants to stay right at the boardwalk. We witnessed amazing sunrises and moonrises. The ocean was right in front of us and from the 6th floor, the view was expansive. A lot of restaurants were also nearby. Kelly was always very communicative, polite and professional. The apartment was clean with the kitchen well stocked with utensils The bedrooms were of a pretty large size. And parking was on the premises. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and holiday for us. We strongly recommend Kelly's place.
