Das Haus ist 1986 erbaut, da das vorige Haus meiner Familie dem Braunkohlabbau zum Opfer fiel. Dieses Haus wurde nur ein paar Meter weiter errichtet. In der Wohnung darunter lebt meine Oma und auf dem Grundstück daneben Meine Mutter. Es ist leider etwas hellhörig, sodass gegenseitige Rücksichtnahme vorausgesetzt wird. Es wird auch großen Wert darauf gelegt, dass die Haustür immer verschlossen ist, also besser immer den Schlüssel bei sich halten, dass man sich nicht versehentlich ausschließt.

The vacation home is located in the sleepy village of Märkischheide, the gateway to the Spreewald. Situated slightly elevated on the Mühlberg, you can look out into the treetops of the small village park from the bedroom. (If there is snow, you can even go sledding a little here). It is quiet here and you can live undisturbed. From here you can go cycling in the Spreewald, in the nature reserves and to the nearby lakes. Or relax on the covered terrace, barbecue or sunbathe in the courtyard.

The site is located in a local recreation area with other vacation homes in the vicinity. In direct bypass is the F60 conveyor bridge as an impressive industrial monument. Between the houses and the beach, the beach promenade leads around the lake and invites you to take exuberant beach walks.

Get out of the countryside right on the swimming lake - Holidays at the edge of the Lusatian Lake District. Our house is in a quiet location in the middle of nature. In the immediate vicinity are a playground, a swimming lake and an ostrich farm. The environment invites for extensive walks and bike rides. Enjoy the scent and listen to the orchestra of the forest. In good weather, you can fall asleep to a skylight overlooking the starry sky.

On the grounds there is a natural playground and a sunny terrace that invites you to barbecue and linger. The nearby swimming area at Lake Teupitz is approx. 200 meters away. In our lovingly renovated and furnished guest suite on the edge of the forest, you will find peace and quiet. This is the place to read, write, meditate, cook, star gaze, mushroom forage, feed chickens, for campfires, forest walks and animal watching. If you want to switch off for a while and enjoy nature, this is the place. The place is also well suited for longer breaks, such as writing a book.
