One out of our five delicately renovated apartments located on the last floor of a charming, characterful farmhouse. It is one of the oldest buildings of a cosy little village in the Valle d’Isarco in Northern Italy. We find ourselves right in the center of sun-blessed South Tyrol, on a hilltop at the entrance of the Gardena and Funes valleys. Almhütte Hausberger

100 years old log house, which was demolished in 2008 in the neighboring village and rebuilt at our organic mountain farm. Special care was taken with regard to the use of natural building materials (reed, clay plaster, waste wood). Traditional larch shingles serve as roofing. The house is heated by a large kitchen stove and a solar thermal system, the bathroom has underfloor heating. The cosy little house (75m²) served us for 10 years as a residence.

From the balcony you can often watch various wild animals such as deer or hares scurrying out of the forest to graze.
