The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. Our cottage is surrounded by nature, quiet and on the Alpstein hiking trail In the garden, there is a cozy sitting lounge, a large fireplace and the garden shower for cooling off. The magnificent views and the Alpine feeling can be particularly well enjoyed from the bench on the forecourt. Inside it is beautifully and cozily furnished, with a tiled stove and wood-burning stove, a cozy living room and a spacious dining table. Everything is fully furnished and ready for guests :)
