Holiday rentals with a kayak in Oaxaca

The setting is absolutely spectacular in person - even better than the images. The house is charming and the walk down the hill to the semi private beach is long but perfectly manageable. The team at the hotel Bahia de la Luna could not have been lovelier. there is also a wonderful outdoor shower that i used every day However, the listing should stress how tricky (steep and rough) the roads are to navigate. i rented a normal sedan car and although it is DOABLE in a regular car, I wished every day that i had a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We also felt that the kitchen could be a little better equipped and the stove/oven were rather temperamental. Given that the position of the house made it hard to go out for dinner at night, it's important to be able to cook. the local market (fish in Puerto Angel or the big municipal market in Pochutla) are wonderful. Last - it would have been good to have some seating on the two bedroom balconies and some extra seating for the dining table

Even a week later, I am still thinking about our wonderful stay! We even wished we had booked more days and will definitely do so when returning to Zipolite. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and knowledgable. The room we booked with the private inifinity pool was even more gorgeous than the photos allowed -- the view is absolutely STUNNING and we rarely left our little oasis the entire stay. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Everything is very good Sandy is a very good host. I definitely recommend her house to rest and disconnect a few days from the city, as well as mentioning several places to meet and enjoy as a family

This is a rustic place and I instantly felt comfortable. The cats are adorable and super friendly and I found the toilet and shower absolutely fine. It’s really warm in Zipolite so the shower is refreshing and it’s a gorgeous location.

It is a beautiful place, being honest the photos do not do it justice, it is super big and comfortable, you could spend the days there resting there. It is very large and has many amenities, has everything and makes you feel like you are at home. You can make a roast meat and burn chocolates in the campfire, they provide you with charcoal and firewood. It even has a river a few meters away in which we could get in for a swim, walk in kayaks (by the way they are part of the house). The only small theme, it's a bit tricky to check in as you pass through some cornstones, but if there is a way. We arrived at night by personal issues and the host sent us a worker to take us and give a mini tour of the house. The host is always in contact with you and suggests places to visit nearby. I recommend it!!

A nice place, in addition to the fact that Don Ricardo was very friendly and the place has a beautiful view at sunrise. I'd go back for a holiday.

Restorative. If you like nature, this is a must-see place. The murmur of the night rain, the smell of wet earth, make you sleep soundly. Last but not least, the person who works with Fernando -Sergio Torres-, facilitates and supports the needs of the guest at all times. Respectful, friendly, simple and with great conversation.

This was a very unique experience, perfect for a large-ish group looking for a beach getaway. I would definitely recommend having your own transport if you stay here, since it’s a bit far outside of town, but since we did have wheels this ended up feeling like a plus. They’re still polishing and renovating the place, but there is no question that it was worth what we paid for it, and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Ricardo, who cares for the place, is an awesome local connection who can help you out with whatever you need. He’s a real gem of a human being. And Gabriela is a welcoming and helpful hostess. We were there during dry season and the mosquitos weren’t crazy at all. Bring bug spray and you’ll be fine.

Everything is very nice to tell the truth. Very friendly Mr. who is there in the house and the very attentive hosts.
