Holiday rentals with a kayak in Oaxaca

The setting is absolutely spectacular in person - even better than the images. The house is charming and the walk down the hill to the semi private beach is long but perfectly manageable. The team at the hotel Bahia de la Luna could not have been lovelier. there is also a wonderful outdoor shower that i used every day However, the listing should stress how tricky (steep and rough) the roads are to navigate. i rented a normal sedan car and although it is DOABLE in a regular car, I wished every day that i had a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We also felt that the kitchen could be a little better equipped and the stove/oven were rather temperamental. Given that the position of the house made it hard to go out for dinner at night, it's important to be able to cook. the local market (fish in Puerto Angel or the big municipal market in Pochutla) are wonderful. Last - it would have been good to have some seating on the two bedroom balconies and some extra seating for the dining table

Mi estancia fue muy cómoda y la atención fue muy grata.

Even a week later, I am still thinking about our wonderful stay! We even wished we had booked more days and will definitely do so when returning to Zipolite. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and knowledgable. The room we booked with the private inifinity pool was even more gorgeous than the photos allowed -- the view is absolutely STUNNING and we rarely left our little oasis the entire stay. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Bonito lugar,muy bien ubicado, limpio, agradable. Gise fue muy amable en todo momento, siempre estaba atenta si necesitábamos algo y fue una gran anfitriona, sin duda alguna volveré a su estancia tan bonita

This is a rustic place and I instantly felt comfortable. The cats are adorable and super friendly and I found the toilet and shower absolutely fine. It’s really warm in Zipolite so the shower is refreshing and it’s a gorgeous location.

Es un lugar hermoso, siendo honesta las fotos no le hacen justicia, esta super grande y cómoda, podrías sin tema pasar los días ahí descansando. Es muy grande y tiene muchas amenidades, tiene de todo y te llega hacer sentir que estas en casa. Puedes hacer una carnita asada y quemar bombones en la fogata, ellos te proporcionan carbón y leña. Inclusive tiene un rio a unos cuantos metros en el cual nos pudimos meter a nadar, andar en kayaks (por cierto son parte de la casa). El único pequeño tema, es un poco complicada la llegada ya que pasas por unos maizales, pero si hay camino. Nosotros por temas personales llegamos en la noche y el anfitrión nos mando un trabajador para que nos llevará y diera un mini tour por la casa. El anfitrión siempre esta en contacto contigo y te sugiere que lugares visitar a los alrededores. Lo recomiendo!!

Un bonito lugar, ademas de que don Ricardo fue muy amable y tiene una vista bonita el lugar al amanecer. Volvería a ir para unas vacaciones.

Reparadora. Si te gusta la naturaleza, este es un lugar imperdible. El murmullo de la lluvia nocturna, el olor de la tierra mojada, te hacen dormir profundamente. por último pero no menos importante, la persona que trabaja con Fernando -Sergio Torres-, facilita y apoya en todo momento las necesidades del huésped. persona respetuosa, amigable, sencilla y con gran conversación.

This was a very unique experience, perfect for a large-ish group looking for a beach getaway. I would definitely recommend having your own transport if you stay here, since it’s a bit far outside of town, but since we did have wheels this ended up feeling like a plus. They’re still polishing and renovating the place, but there is no question that it was worth what we paid for it, and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Ricardo, who cares for the place, is an awesome local connection who can help you out with whatever you need. He’s a real gem of a human being. And Gabriela is a welcoming and helpful hostess. We were there during dry season and the mosquitos weren’t crazy at all. Bring bug spray and you’ll be fine.

Muy bonito todo la verdad. Muy amable el señor que se encuentra ahí en la casa y los anfitriónes muy atentos.
