Monthly Rentals in Oatlands

Ian not only understands respectful renovation of a charming old home, he has nailed the thoughtful hospitality in a tiny, country town. Everything shuts early in the country and so the pantry is full of useful things plus delicious locally-made snacks. We travelled as a group of adults who are not couples so the configuration of three separate rooms, each with comfy queen beds and a theme tied into the artwork was very welcome. Finally, his ability to remotely turn on wall heaters so that the house was warm on arrival was a surprising and enjoyable “plus 1” moment.

Perfect place to stay for a few nights! Warm, clean and very comfortable, with a gorgeous little garden. Loved the bath and cosy touches, thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay with Ruth & Peter, the cottage was just so welcoming and relaxing. The passion of the hosts to share their home and history, just added to our appreciation of what they have achieved. The evening platter was one not to pass on, and to enjoy this in front of the wood heater was so enjoyable. Also, our thanks Ruth & Peter for the exceptional communication that added to our time with you.

Large, solid home with 4 large bedrooms, excellent heating, well appointed kitchen and laundry. We were a party of eight and appreciated two toilets and two showers. Whilst bedrooms comfortably accommodate 8, lounge room and kitchen table does not have enough space for all guests to sit in the room….didn’t bother our party too much. Would stay here again for sure.
