Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Nuwara Eliya

Fantastic home and some great help from Danuo and Praba who cooked some fantastic food and were always there to help and offer services and information . Praba was a great Caddy ! Overall a fantastic host, house helps and definitely recommend for families and friends coming to Victoria

This place is an absolute hidden gem! Tucked away in the middle of nowhere, it offers complete privacy and peaceful surroundings—just what we needed to unwind. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. We enjoyed cooking some of our own meals, while the lovely village family treated us to some delicious home-cooked dishes as well. Bala, the manager, was an absolute sweetheart, always warm, kind, and smiling. We’re already looking forward to coming back whenever we need a break from our busy Colombo life!

Wow! This place is incredible, if you love golf you’ll be in heaven. I’ve never played at a more friendly club ever! The members are so welcoming and we made some awesome friends here that we will keep in touch with. Alan is a great host and did even more than required we feel really privileged to have met such wonderful people. His property is amazing, you won’t be disappointed, along with his care taker and house keeper we felt relaxed, safe and well looked after. Our 10 day stay here will be hard to beat, we can’t wait to come back!

Upul ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Aussicht ist ein Traum! Die Unterkunft ist sehr groß (größer als auf den Bildern) und perfekt für 4 Personen. Die Möbel sind moderner als man es auf Sri Lanka gewohnt ist. Upul hat uns sogar seine Waschmaschiene zur Verfügung gestellrt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben. Der Ambuluwawa Tower ist ca. 10 Minuten (Tultuk) entfernt. Reisenden mit einem Tuktuk würden wir empfehlen das Tultuk nicht ganz oben bei der Unterkunft zu parken, es sei denn man ist schon sehr erfahren. Wie haben es gerade so bei Regen hoch geschafft. Es geht ziemlich steil Berg hoch. Mit einem Mopet oder Auto geht es besser. Uns hat es wirklich gut gefallen. Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall nochmal buchen! 🙂

Our family (2 adults 2 kids) stayed with Chitra and also took her cooking class. Chitra, her husband and daughter were are lovely hosts. The apartment was private and located on the bottom floor of the residence. There is a suoermarket and take away restaurant (very popular with locals) a few blocks away. Not much else in walking distance that i saw. If you do plan to really cook in the unit, you will need to alert Chitra as just the basics are on hand (this seemed to be common in Sri Lanka). The cooking lesson included a meat, a veg, a dahl and a fruit curry. All delicious. I think we would have preferred a more hands-on session but we were battling some travel fatigue (especially with our youngest)....so my suggestion would be to coodinate with Chitra on how much participation you want to have. We didnt have time to do the market visit.

Beautiful, clean home in a lovely area. Host was extremely helpful and answered any questions we had. Will definitely come back!

这是我整个斯里兰卡行程住的最有情调的房子了！到的时候刚好是落日时分，站在大露台上可以看到灿烂的夕阳太阳缓缓落下！晚上对面的山上灯火辉煌，我们在躺椅上抬头可见看到满天的星星，简直不要太美！房间超级大，无敌干净，当然还有更加热情加热心的房东，开车带我们去逛超市！我们还在超大厨房做了晚饭和早饭。推荐给所有小伙伴，这就是feel home. This is a highly recommended place to all the friends. You can see the sunset here，you can see the bright lights in the evening,you also can see the stars in the sky. The room is big and clean. The host is hospitable.This is a gorgeous place.

endroit très pratique pour séjourner à Nuwara Eliya en évitant le bruit du centre ville. accès rapide en ville même à pied. à environ 1h de route des Hortons Plains et proches des plantations de thé à voir dans la région. 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain : le top !

We had a nice stay at this accommodations. It’s near the city center so it was easy to get there. If you want to see the “attractions” of the city you maybe have to walk a bit longer. But the apartment itself was nice and had everything we need.

We had a fantastic stay at the Chocolate Factory House. The accommodation was modern, clean, and very comfortable as described in the pictures. The view from the balcony was stunning, making it a truly relaxing experience. Aline and Sami were incredible hosts, always ready to help and ensure everything went smoothly. To reach the center of Kandy, you'll need to take a tuk tuk or uber, and it's best to walk a few meters to the main road to catch one.
