Fantastic home and some great help from Danuo and Praba who cooked some fantastic food and were always there to help and offer services and information . Praba was a great Caddy ! Overall a fantastic host, house helps and definitely recommend for families and friends coming to Victoria

This place is an absolute hidden gem! Tucked away in the middle of nowhere, it offers complete privacy and peaceful surroundings—just what we needed to unwind. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. We enjoyed cooking some of our own meals, while the lovely village family treated us to some delicious home-cooked dishes as well. Bala, the manager, was an absolute sweetheart, always warm, kind, and smiling. We’re already looking forward to coming back whenever we need a break from our busy Colombo life!

Wow! This place is incredible, if you love golf you’ll be in heaven. I’ve never played at a more friendly club ever! The members are so welcoming and we made some awesome friends here that we will keep in touch with. Alan is a great host and did even more than required we feel really privileged to have met such wonderful people. His property is amazing, you won’t be disappointed, along with his care taker and house keeper we felt relaxed, safe and well looked after. Our 10 day stay here will be hard to beat, we can’t wait to come back!

I found this home to be an absolute surprise. All quality with really nice spaces. Upul was extremely serviceable and I love to stay there, close to the city, but enough peaceful. I will recommend this place for sure. Thanks!

Our family (2 adults 2 kids) stayed with Chitra and also took her cooking class. Chitra, her husband and daughter were are lovely hosts. The apartment was private and located on the bottom floor of the residence. There is a suoermarket and take away restaurant (very popular with locals) a few blocks away. Not much else in walking distance that i saw. If you do plan to really cook in the unit, you will need to alert Chitra as just the basics are on hand (this seemed to be common in Sri Lanka). The cooking lesson included a meat, a veg, a dahl and a fruit curry. All delicious. I think we would have preferred a more hands-on session but we were battling some travel fatigue (especially with our youngest)....so my suggestion would be to coodinate with Chitra on how much participation you want to have. We didnt have time to do the market visit.

Fazly is truely an exceptional host who went above and beyond throughout our stay. The accomodation was spotless, and those balcony views just stunning. We ate delicious breakfast and dinner made by his wife on the balcony which saved us having to go out. We were really made to feel at home, more than any Airbnb previously visited. 10 out of 10, if you are visiting Kandy look nowhere else.

We had a nice stay at this accommodations. It’s near the city center so it was easy to get there. If you want to see the “attractions” of the city you maybe have to walk a bit longer. But the apartment itself was nice and had everything we need.

We had a fantastic stay at the Chocolate Factory House. The accommodation was modern, clean, and very comfortable as described in the pictures. The view from the balcony was stunning, making it a truly relaxing experience. Aline and Sami were incredible hosts, always ready to help and ensure everything went smoothly. To reach the center of Kandy, you'll need to take a tuk tuk or uber, and it's best to walk a few meters to the main road to catch one.
