Wake up to birdsong on beautiful Veierland! This idyllic, car-free island has a very special tranquility and atmosphere. You arrive in Veierland by ferry or boat. There are two dining places and a bakery (6/21-8/3). Several nice swimming areas, rocks and beaches, lovely hiking and biking areas. I run a clinic in the neighboring building and here you can book massage or other treatments. The little yellow cabin has a simple standard, but a high charm factor. An oasis in the middle of the island, where you can let your shoulders down

Great classic villa by the beach

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of space for fun by the lake. Here it is far to the nearest neighbor and the large outdoor area invites you and your family to play and have fun. There is also plenty of space inside so here it is possible for two families to spend time together. Bring your own boat or rent a boat here (with fishing gear and water skis). Boat berth is nearby. 2 electric mountain bikes can also be rented. The interior is of an older vintage, but clean, nice and in order. Nostalgic and charming.

"Bua" in maritime surroundings!

Welcome to "bua" at Hvalstrand marina! Bua is a lovely little cabin located at Hvaler's perhaps most charming marina. It's quiet and peaceful here, and at the same time you get a taste of boating life. Bua is located next to the boat docks, so you can expect to meet people who are on holiday in their boats. There are swimming facilities on site with swimming steps at the end of the boat jetty. The surroundings consist of a lot of beautiful nature with forests, trails and mountains. Utekjøkken for grilling. Bilvei helt frem. Kun noen få trappetrinn opp. Vaskevann fra pumpe på terrassen og drikkevann er båret opp. Utedusj eller nyt et deilig bad i ferskvannet rett på nedsiden. The place is perfectly located between Fredrikstad, Halden, the Swedish coast and Vestfold. You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.

The cabin is located 80 meters from the sea, and has a large sunny terrace with a gas grill. An annex has a modern bathroom with hot water and WC. The cabin has a nice garden and access to a large lawn for activities such as a trampoline, badminton, and volleyball. Tjøme is bike friendly and there is a bike path along the island and all the way to Tønsberg. A children friendly beach, a summer open bakery, and a cultural center is within few minutes walk.
