Our historic property consists of a 120-year-old schoolhouse and an approx. 100-year-old town hall in the midst of untouched nature on a park-like property. In the old schoolhouse, the Alte Schule vacation home extends over 2 floors with a living space of approx. 140 square meters. In the annex of the old town hall is the guest wing with a wellness area on the first floor and the 2 apartments Samtmuschel (approx. 60 sqm) and Herzmuschel (approx. 50 sqm) on the second floor.

Ihlowerfehn is an ideal location to explore all of East Frisia. Various coastal regions can be reached in about 45 minutes by car. In the immediate vicinity is a restaurant with beer garden as well as a beautiful playground.

Easily accessible by train, only 400 m from the train station. Bremen, Oldenburg or Osnabrück are ideal for day trips. Your bikes can be safely stored and charged in the shed. Conveniently located to the A1 highway, 2.5 km to the nearest ramp.

Relax in this special and quiet accommodation. The house is idyllic, but you can still reach shops and the medical center in the village by car in a few minutes. Bike tours and hikes are just fun here, bathing lakes are nearby. The surrounding restaurants are highly recommended. Dogs are welcome (not in the beds) if they are calm and non-aggressive (please no puppies). We have three very agreeable and lovely female dogs of our own.

Witnesses to its old age are the original parquet and plank floors in the living rooms and bedrooms and terrazzo floors in the kitchen. The house is very carefully furnished with beautiful softwood antiques. In sunshine, life takes place outside on the terrace in the enclosed garden.

Welcome to Tidehuus Krummhörn. Our house is a detached house and stands on a 1600 square meter plot. It was lovingly renovated in 2020. Last makeover of the living room 10/24. It is located in the quiet village of Loquard. It is about 2 km to the dike edge, 1 km to the baker (Rysum), 11 km to other shopping (Pewsum) or 12 km (Emden) The Tidehuus is a good starting point for extensive bike tours in East Frisia.
