Holiday rentals with a kayak in North Yorkshire

Exactly what was advertised we got. Beautiful lodge, clean and cosy! A lovely from home. The hot tub was amazing and the surroundings were sound peaceful. Will definitely be coming back and 100% recommend for a breakaway

We stayed 2 nights at Honeybee Lodge. The lodge was easy to find. Check-in was simple. The Lodge is on a quiet park with 2 fantastic restaurants close by. Everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable was available. There's plenty of space for 4 and I'm sure that when the weather is better that the decking area would be a superb spot for evening dining. The hot tub was clean and ready to use. A great base for exploring York and the surrounding areas.

We've just had a lovely few days at Willow cottage. Lots of walking, feeding the farm animals, and giving them some fuss. We used the pedal boat and kayak a few times on the lake. We roasted marshmallows on the fire pit. We just generally chilled out, we'd love to go back and get to see the new baby donkey.

fab place to stay, lovely evenings in the hottub, really well appointed, beautifully decorated. our host responsed very quickly to an issue with the oven, 5 star review.

Just back from a lovely 3 night stay at Moat cottage. The cottage itself is in a beautiful and peaceful location but within easy reach of Ripon & other neighbouring towns including Harrogate. There is plenty to see and do. The cottage is a lovely space. We were a group of 4 adults and a dog and there was plenty of space in both the house and garden. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and has a beautiful fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked and Shanie very kindly supplied essentials such as bread/ milk/ butter etc for our arrival. The photos don’t quite do the cottage justice, it’s a really lovely space and all of the rooms are clean and cosy. Shanie was a great host- easy to contact and send us a really useful welcome pack prior to our arrival. Would definitely recommend a stay at Moat cottage!

Loved my stay in the cabin and slept so well. The moon, the trees, the canal, Hebden bridge and the amazing walks. A great stay. Kay and Paul were really lovely and seemed very caring. They left me to have lots of space and autonomy whilst letting me know if I needed anything they were on hand. Thanks for a great stay!

Highly recommend the cottages. You will have all you require for a comfortable stay. Great for pets, super walking space and the bonus of being able to purchase fresh eggs. The air display from RAF Leeming is fantastic. Super choice of games to use and great pub with amazing food just down the road which is also pet friendly too. Lovely places to visit nearby.

the Hosts was great the location perfect for a quiet weekend away only a very short drive to shops and town centre the indian takeaway was absolutely amazing the Black Cardamon would certainly go again

An absolutely idyllic place to stay. Beautiful peaceful surroundings and wonderful walks from the cottage. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very comfortable. Lovely beds and linen. A spacious yet cosy holiday home with lovely decorative touches. The view out of the back of the cottage is fabulous. Feels a million miles away from anyone but actually very close to Ripon and local attractions. Shanie and Tom are welcoming and friendly hosts, yet left us in peace while staying. The welcoming touches to settle in and the information pack provided were really excellent. We also enjoyed using the garden and play area which was fine for kicking a ball around in! Thank you for a lovely few days. I would love to return and would definitely recommend.
