Cottage holiday rentals in North Ostrobothnia

The place was just as it should be. A wonderful, beautiful and peaceful environment. The cottage was well suited for two adults and one first-grader. The staff was very friendly and nice.

Our second visit to this cottage, which has a good level of equipment, dishes, spices, and basics. High-quality bedding and linens. Warm decor. Hot tub nicely protected by the forest, in privacy. With dogs, it's easy to go jogging in the woods. We'll have a great time, and I'm sure we'll book again. Thank you to the owner for the welcome!

We had an incredible, magical week at Miika's cute cottage. Miika made our stay perfect. He took us on a snowmobile safari, we were ice fishing together and pointed out the Aurora at night. As another highlight, his wife cooked an insanely delicious reindeer soup for us. This was the crowning glory in our Finland week. We also received great tips on other things to do and Miika also organized a visit to a reindeer farm, very privately. We enjoyed the beautiful and quiet location right on the lake with our private sauna. A thousand thanks Miika and we will certainly be back!

The cottage perfectly met our needs and was in a really good location. The tea rake was a great home base for our family's vacation activities. A big thank you to the host!

The two of us were passing through and stayed 3 nights in this lovely cottage. Nicely renovated, everything you need is in it. Nice wood stove! We had our sleeping bags, pillows and (sauna)towels with us. Glad there is also a washing machine for the sauna cloths. The sauna is wonderful by the way! Good to know, you don't hear inside the road and you hardly notice the hikers or cyclists. We don't know whether the lake is clean for swimming, there are signs along the lake where they refer to a beach away due to the discharge of water pipe or something (according to Google translate). We read that later after we chilled in the lake, there was still ice. Whether that can be done in the summer, we don't know. The freezing shower is also nice. 😉

Sanna was a great host and responds very quickly to enquiries. The accommodation was near to the main family area of the ski slopes. The accomodation was homely and very cosy. The clothes drier and sauna are a great bonus. We were pleased to have stayed in the valley in comparison to the main village. The valley is very quiet and had the lapland magic of cosy cabins (like this one) amongst snow covered spruce and pine, whilst still only being a gondola ride or short drive away from the restaurants and buzz of the village. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The stay matched the description well. The cottage was also very well equipped. A great choice for six guests with a variety of activities and a great location.

We had a great time at Liisa's place. The cottage is in the middle of the quiet forest with an idyllic setting. Liisa is adorable and her place is perfect. I'll do it again!

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful house! What a fantastic place to be, you'll have the entire house to yourself. The surroundings are quiet and quite beautiful. Marita and Sami are lovely and warm people. They will receive you when you arrive. If there is anything or you have a question, all you have to do is send a message and you have an answer. The house was very clean and provided with everything you need. There is wood for the stove which you can use. We have booked the ice fishing, the feeding of reindeer and the husky trip through them, these are recommended. The ice fishing is very nice because you do that with Marita and Sami. We enjoyed our stay with these lovely people.

Relaxing place and good sauna.

Beautiful cottage near the services of Ruka. The cottage found everything we needed and was really well-cleaned. A sauna, a lean-to, and a big deck were a great thing about the place. Others will be here!

Beautiful little cottage right on the lake. A good sauna where you can swim to your own beach in the summer, now the lake was still freezing. Near the starting point of the Little Bear Tour.

The house is located in a quiet place and has a charming old beach sauna. The premises are clean and spacious; suitable for those traveling with a dog. The hostess was particularly warm and helpful.

The little hut right on the beach was really cozy. The path to the beach and the beautiful lighthouse was only a few meters. And the staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful.

We had the pleasure of staying 4 days in this exceptional architectural oasis surrounded by stunning nature and overlooking the lake. We enjoyed the beautiful views from every room in the cabin—whether from the bed in the morning, the sauna, or during dinner. The cabin is quiet and located about 16 km from Rovaniemi, making it the perfect base for our daily excursions. We rented a car at the airport, which made exploring easy. Johannes has been an impeccable and incredibly pleasant host, always quick to respond and ready with great recommendations. Thank you for an amazing stay—your cabin has been central to our experience!
