Cottage holiday rentals in North Ostrobothnia

Very much enjoyed our stay here, definitely recommended! The host was very easy to reach, gave clear communication and instructions and was quick to respond. Everything was very clean. We thought the sauna was a big plus :) The area is quiet, with many shops within walking distance. For cooking, one cooking fire may be a little low, but there is also a well-functioning oven and microwave. For the rest, there is a lot of amenities available such as kettle, bread toaster, coffee,... Thank you for a nice stay!

Very comfortable and neatly sized place to stay for two. It heats up a lot when you can warm it up. A lot like that doesn't warm up in an instant, so it's a good idea to book 3-5 hours to warm up in the spring, and 5-10 hives. A big recommendation for this place!

Our second visit to this cottage, which has a good level of equipment, dishes, spices, and basics. High-quality bedding and linens. Warm decor. Hot tub nicely protected by the forest, in privacy. With dogs, it's easy to go jogging in the woods. We'll have a great time, and I'm sure we'll book again. Thank you to the owner for the welcome!

The cottage perfectly met our needs and was in a really good location. The tea rake was a great home base for our family's vacation activities. A big thank you to the host!

The two of us were passing through and stayed 3 nights in this lovely cottage. Nicely renovated, everything you need is in it. Nice wood stove! We had our sleeping bags, pillows and (sauna)towels with us. Glad there is also a washing machine for the sauna cloths. The sauna is wonderful by the way! Good to know, you don't hear inside the road and you hardly notice the hikers or cyclists. We don't know whether the lake is clean for swimming, there are signs along the lake where they refer to a beach away due to the discharge of water pipe or something (according to Google translate). We read that later after we chilled in the lake, there was still ice. Whether that can be done in the summer, we don't know. The freezing shower is also nice. 😉

Extremely clean and comfortable home. It was also very pleasant that Ella quickly gave an answer to questions asked in advance. Recommend!

The stay was just what was promised. Very peaceful and beautiful place, well located away from the hustle and bustle but still close to the village. Teemu responded to quick messages and was friendly. The cottage has everything you need and the outdoor sauna got a good steam. Let's come again😊

Sanna was a great host and responds very quickly to enquiries. The accommodation was near to the main family area of the ski slopes. The accomodation was homely and very cosy. The clothes drier and sauna are a great bonus. We were pleased to have stayed in the valley in comparison to the main village. The valley is very quiet and had the lapland magic of cosy cabins (like this one) amongst snow covered spruce and pine, whilst still only being a gondola ride or short drive away from the restaurants and buzz of the village. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This cottage sits among the great trees of Rokuan, right on the lakeshore. A little answered so that you go down a wooden staircase to the bathing platform, which we liked and from the terrace of the house you have a view of the lake. The national park is at your doorstep, i.e. you can start hiking directly or cycling or cross-country skiing in winter... we liked it very much, the house is all you need, Juha welcomed us personally and was always available for questions! The second house next door didn't affect us at all, you don't see it from the patio and the guests were very considerate! (just like we hopefully). We enjoyed our stay!

The house is very dated. Nonetheless it is very welcoming and the surroundings are amazing. Plenty to do in the area, although you will need to drive around quite a bit. Anssi was always quick to reply and his dad was very helpful when we needed something. As already said, the house is old and possibly in need of some tlc, but it is cosy and overall comfortable. At this price point, it is very good value for money. Sauna was also great. Overall thumbs up and recommended if you want to explore Lapland.

Lovely little cozy cottage and sauna got gentle steam♡ It was a little horrified at the beginning when you realized how next to the hosts' home, but you didn't even remember it when all the windows were in other directions and the sauna didn't see the hosts' house. Nearby walking distance, the possibility of sausage frying in connection with the playground.

The little hut right on the beach was really cozy. The path to the beach and the beautiful lighthouse was only a few meters. And the staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful.

Nice, clean and peaceful place to stay. Laundry machine and tumble dryer were great! The cat living around is very friendly.

This is a top-notch cottage in a dreamy forest by the lake. The winter scenery was "Narnia" like all around. All the amenities are beautiful Finish art collections, the dishes almost feel too pretty to eat from :-) You can feel that every corner has been thought about. The communication with Virpi has been excellent before and during our stay. Thank you so much for having us.
