Holiday rentals with a fire pit in North Holland

Sandra's cottage is a gem among holiday homes. Those who rest, bird sounds, a certain luxury and style and also a very nice host who does not intrude but is ready for questions or a friendly chat will appreciate this address very much. It was 31 degrees outside but the house was wonderfully cool, also due to the high ceiling. The beds were very comfortable and everything is brand clean. From the quiet garden, you can walk along the leafy lanes to the charming centre of Blaricum. So, for both peace and entertainment seekers, this is a perfect location. Lots of privacy... own garden and even a beautiful sculpture to enjoy. In short: We had a wonderful time and thank Sandra for the hospitality. It's great that someone with so much pleasure and inspiration for her beautiful cottage shares it with us, yet unknown guests. We will definitely come back! Astrid and Merel

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

We were traveling by bike and used Ben and Inge's accommodation for 3 nights. On the one hand, the proximity of Amsterdam (with a bus stop nearby and the train from Weesp... totally easy!) and the really beautiful small towns of Weesp, Muiden and Naarden. Inge brought us an incredibly great breakfast every morning on request. She is a great, very friendly hostess. Thank you very much for this great start to the day. We felt totally comfortable with Ben and Inge and appreciated their hospitality very much. The small independent apartment is very quiet, very clean and cozy (as in the photos). Probably the best AirBnB we‘ve been to in the Netherlands! Absolutely amazing renovated traditional house that felt cosy and right at home. We were 4 adults and one child (aged 8). The hosts were kind enough to set an extra bed for my daughter, which was very comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen. We didn’t miss anything. Very quiet and private location and beautiful surroundings. The garden is very peaceful and there is even a water channel at the back! We‘re absolutely looking forward to staying here again soon.

We spontaneously booked with Beke for 4 days and everything went very smoothly from the beginning. She welcomed us very warmly and we immediately felt very comfortable in the beautiful accommodation. The house is very lovingly furnished and has everything we wanted. A nice place to relax. The surroundings of the house are also very beautiful and it is even possible to reach the beach within about 70 minutes through the nature reserve. We were also able to reach the beach easily by car and park for free in the nearby area. The proximity to Alkmaar, a beautiful, cosy town, is also very pleasant. There are many beautiful restaurants and small shops. We enjoyed our time at Beke very much and will be happy to come back. Thank you again for the loving hospitality. Serge is a great host. We were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful stay in his apartment. Serge was available around the clock, gave us great tips for activities and showed us his farm. We were also able to get to know the horses there up close. The apartment was just like in the pictures, beautifully decorated, and very clean. We felt very comfortable and will certainly come back on our next visit to Holland.

First of all, Alex, Liz and their parents are really very warm and caring for their guests. They can be reached at any time. Thanks to their welcome, we immediately felt like we were on holiday. The apartment is very nice and decorated with care and good taste. The kitchen is well-equipped and sunny for breakfast and starting a beautiful day. The garden is beautiful and there are plenty of small discreet corners where you can sit. It was an enchanting break and we hope to return.

I enjoyed my stay in Muiderberg. I needed a convenient place to stay for one night in between moving house and this apartment was the perfect solution. The host was very flexible with the check-in time and even let me park a large van in her driveway. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and had a nice atmosphere. It's actually much nicer than the photos used on Airbnb. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quieter place to stay nearby Amsterdam or to someone who wants some days away in a cute dutch town.

We spent a week before Easter at Thildy's place and felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is comfortably furnished and there is everything you need for a holiday. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped. Communication with Thildy was very good.

It is a very cosy and familiar apartment. Peaceful and super close to Amsterdam and Den Hague. You feel fast at home. The breakfast was super, so we could enjoy our trip. I really recommend Mark as a host.

Excellent connectivity with some walking required, but absolutely worth it for the peaceful, natural setting that feels like a retreat from city life. The space is tastefully furnished with thoughtful attention to detail, creating a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. What makes this location special is how it combines urban convenience with tranquil surroundings - a rare find in metropolitan areas. Our incredibly attentive host provided excellent local recommendations and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, supplying a new fan and mosquito spray when needed. The excellent coffee machine with fresh beans was a delightful morning highlight. The property had everything we required for a comfortable stay in this serene environment. Highly recommended for anyone seeking quiet relaxation without sacrificing city access.

Jody and Huib welcomed us and our young sheepdog very warmly. The accommodation is simply fantastic and beautiful. Even more beautiful than the pictures show. The garden is completely fenced, which made our stay with a dog very relaxing. The location of the place is also great. 20-25 minutes to all beaches on the west coast. Approximately 50 minutes to Amsterdam. There are shopping facilities for daily needs in a supermarket about 5 minutes away by car. We definitely had a very nice holiday and can only recommend this accommodation.

We’ve now stayed in this beautiful, cozy little house for the second time – and it was just as lovely as the first. That’s exactly why we decided to come back. The house is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, located in a quiet area, and the perfect place to relax. Our dog really enjoyed the park right across the street – great for walks. Our little son also had a blast, both playing in the house and exploring the city. We had an amazing time and felt right at home. Thank you – we’ll definitely be back!

I have stayed at several Airbnbs in the past few years and had wonderful experiences with each. This place has been the best place I have stayed. The host Maaike, is absolutely wonderful. Easy to communicate with, helpful, friendly and kind. The place itself is exactly as advertised. A great hideaway not far from several great destinations in the Netherlands. Quiet, comfortable, and private. When I come back to the Netherlands again, I will absolutely stay here again.

The cabin is simply a dream in the middle of the countryside! So lovingly made and you can relax so wonderfully and let your mind wander. Just as beautiful as in the photos, so definitely recommended! It is wonderfully quiet, but you can also be in the next town in a few minutes. The apartment is clean and cozy and you have what you need. I'm sure we'll be back! Judith and Juul are so nice and helpful, that's not a given! :)

The reception was very warm and personal. We felt right at home. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and nothing was missing. A great terrace with a view of a fantastic garden completes the feel-good atmosphere. The terrace is completely fenced, which makes a stay with a dog totally relaxing. We will be happy to come back.

This place is a real treasure. The house itself and the garden are absolutely beautiful, very cozy and clean and everything is attended to. Right from the beginning you can see and feel the love and work that Rose is putting into it. You‘ll find a lovely place in lovely surroundings out in the Dutch country side, but still close to everything „touristic“ you might want to do and see. The place is also perfect if you travel with your dog, since it‘s fully fenced and there‘s beautiful walking possibilities all around you. Rose and her family are very friendly, welcoming and always helpfull if needed. In short: We really enjoyed our stay together with our dogs and can fully hearted recommend it to anyone, anytime.
