Treehouse holiday rentals in North Coast

This place is magical. There’s a creek in the backyard and surrounded by trees. You feel so far away from everything, but there’s a grocery not too far. The coffee shop right down the street is also very good. 10/10 would come back

We enjoyed our two night stay in the treehouse! We were greeted by their two border collies who were very sweet and gentle with my older pup. Dan is super friendly and glad we got to meet our host in the community kitchen area. Everyone else is also friendly and fun to chat with. When you book this spot, do know you’re staying in a treehouse with no electric or circulation, we brought our mini jackery, some mini string lights and wrapped around the tree for evening lighting and kept the screen window open at night to get some air. I would recommend a lantern or headlamps if you don’t have lights. There are bugs so if that bothers you, this is not the place for you. We loved the view from the top and we slept great! We love the village and all the animals that came with it.

Gordon’s home was incredible! The drive up to the home is beyond stunning and when you walk through the gate of the property it felt like you were in another world entirely! The views off the deck, the garden, the hot tub and so much more were all magical! Inside the home also made you feel right at home! The added sound system you could connect to inside was delightful as well! Their love and effort put into this little getaway spot definitely shows. Had a 12/10 experience with my partner! Can’t wait to visit this place again! Purely spectacular!

Sally Ann's place is perfect for exploring Mill Valley and the broader Marin area. Three adults and two kids stayed here very comfortably in April 2025. It's conveniently located on the Main Street in Mill Valley so is walkable to plenty of shops and restaurants but it's tucked up into the hillside so it feels very private and peaceful. Beautiful garden and patio that two of the bedrooms open up to, with a warm and inviting space throughout the interior. Sally was a helpful and extremely responsive host. Would highly recommend and we hope to come back!

We had the most special weekend with friends at Britta’s house! It’s such a cozy property with incredible views of the river. Everything was exactly as described and perfectly clean. Being able to just walk down to the river and enjoy our morning coffee there was such a treat. And the proximity to downtown Healdsburg and wineries made it a great location for all of our weekend activities. Britta and Blake were extremely responsive and great to communicate with too. If you’re considering this property, don’t hesitate - it’s truly such a beautiful escape from the city and we can’t recommend it enough!

My Crew and I came here on a work trip to a local camp nearby. We weren't at the cabin for a long time, but the time we did spend there was splendid. There are many great features to this stay, including the hot tub and game room. Both were greatly appreciated after 12-hour days of work. The Hosts were very communicative and helpful with the check-in and check-out process, and gave lots of info for the stay. Late check out was highly appreciated after working so long; sleeping in was a treat. The only flaw I could think of was the towels. For longer stays, it would be great to have an extra set of towels as backup. There is a washer and dryer, but we were working such long days, and laundry was a time-consuming thing to do. Overall, an amazing cabin with amazing amenities. Would love to stay again next year for our work trip again!

Everything from check in to check out was seamless. The house was very charming, clean and was exactly as described. It was well stocked with amenities and supplies. There were even extra board games and blankets, fire pits and great porches to sit outside and enjoy. The hottub was amazing. The surroundings of the house were peaceful and beautiful, lots of trees and calming forest vibes. We saw deer too! Guerneville town is super close with lots of restaurants. It was also a short drive to the wineries we wanted to visit for my birthday. And the Russian River is walkable of a short drive away. Definitely recommend this gem!

Our 7 year old loved this place. She loved going up and down the ladder, canoeing in the pond and feeding a horse. It’s such a gorgeous unique property. Redwoods all around. An outdoor shower in a fairy ring of redwoods was also a highlight. We stayed for 3 nights. We BBQed & we hot tubbed, and generally had a peaceful time. We met both dogs and they were sweet as pie and obviously living their best lives. Really no huge negatives. The hosts were super responsive to all my questions and at the same time gave us tons of privacy. Things to note: the space is small, we are on a long road trip with probably too much stuff so organizing our stuff in the space was challenging but we got the hang of it. You have to go up a ladder for the bedroom, you have to shower outside - so if that doesn’t appeal to you probably this place isn’t your jam. Our 7 year old found it magical though and it brought out the kids in us. Overall we loved it!!

Loved staying here for a weekend. Peaceful and quiet among the trees. The space is so beautifully designed and was a treat to experience. I would happily return!

The coolest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Amazing architecture and layout. Lots of nice little touches: a fridge stocked with a few beers and milk for your coffee, fire wood and s’more supplies, plenty of blankets for those cool evenings in the Redwoods. Friendly hosts. We’d definitely come back!

This treehouse was such a peaceful and unique retreat — exactly what we were looking for to unwind and reconnect with nature. The setting is beautiful, the space is thoughtfully designed, and you can really feel the care that went into creating this getaway. Crysta, Nicole, and the team were incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. Their warmth and attention made the experience even more enjoyable. We’re definitely keeping this place saved and would love to return and explore more of the area. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone looking for a serene escape!

Very kind and helpful hosts! The treehouse was very clean, private, and cozy. Close to the river and the parks, but the Airbnb is located in a secluded and peaceful valley, so no road noise from the highway.

Loved my stay here! The outdoor tub and shower was my favorite! I didn’t think much of it when making the reservation but it ended up being my favorite feature! The robes were a nice treat! Bed was comfy!
