Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Norte Region

This is a very special place with beauty everywhere you look including the architecture of the house utilising the natural materials of the region to blend into the landscape. Francisca cooked us a delicious three course meal including wine, delivered on a tray on our first night what a treat ! On Francisca’s recommendation we had a very authentic wine and food tour with Bambuti Tours we were overwhelmed with Portugal hospitality for the day and Viewed some amazing scenery, a great way to explore the valley. Casa Do Largo is situated in some of the most beautiful scenery in the valley and we enjoyed a whole day there , with a walk to the beautiful river first then a day enjoying the pool and the most comfortable home. This has been our favourite spot in Portugal and we would highly recommended you book it for at least 3 nights.

Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

Fui muito bem recebido pela Marta, que me mostrou a casa e deixou alimentos para o meu primeiro pequeno almoço, entre os quais doce caseiro e fruta do pomar. A localização da Casa da Eira é fantástica, com vistas belíssimas sobre a baía do rio Douro um grande pátio com a mesma vista e mesmo ao lado a piscina. A piscina infinita é deslumbrante com vista para o rio e de grande tamanho. Toda a propriedade está muito bem cuidada com jardins e plantações de árvores de fruto; o tamanho da propriedade proporciona passeios a pé e recantos para descansar sem sair do local. A casa em si tem todas as comodidades e é muito confortável, com uma varanda coberta que proporciona a sensação de se estar numa casa de árvore. A amabilidade da Marta (que até me ofereceu ameixas da produção da quinta) , a localização e as comodidades, fazem deste alojamento um retiro ideal para verdadeiro descanso, quer se vá sozinho ou em família. Voltarei.

excellent stay, only issue was with sleeping as the double bed mattress had plastic wrapping which can be noisy. no washing machine. Definitely would stay again.

We stayed for one week in June with our dog. It was a wonderful experience: - Village: it's a tiny village with a few people. If you want to recover from the city noise it's a perfect place. There is no bars or shops, so be prepared and take all the necessary food with you. People are nice. There are a lot of cows! They are friendly and beautiful. - House territory: it was the most beautiful view from the house that I've ever saw - giant mountain in front of every window. Super calm. Territory has a fence, it was enough for our dog to stay inside but there are holes so be prepared if your dog tends to run away. There is a bbq outside. - House: it was just awesome - everything you need you will find: enough of blankets, pillows, comfortable coach, dishwasher. Cooking pans are not the best, but enough. I liked the interior very much - it's a lot of space in the living room, giant dining table, in one of the bedrooms you have mountain view. Strongly recommend. Thank you!

Mario and Cila’s home was one of the most beautiful I have stayed out. The house was an old olive oil mill, converted into a modern paradise. They thoughtfully incorporated the property’s history into the renovation. The home is beautiful but the grounds are next level! There is a running stream running along side and under the house with lush grounds and a wonderful pool. There is also a walking path to a little park with a waterfall! Super peaceful property. If you are looking for a getaway, look no further! Mario and Cila are super kind, gracious hosts! They welcomed us themselves and proactively provided tips and recommendations. Super appreciative of their hospitality.

Já é o segundo ano que visitamos este lugar. Há algo mágico nele e sobretudo para quem trabalha na cidade, é o lugar perfeito para poder desligar. Dá-nos saúde e faz sonhar. Destaco mais uma vez a piscina e a vista. Acordar com vista para o vale é sensacional. A casa tem todas as comodidades e está muito bem equipada. O espaço é limpo e muito acolhedor. Espero voltar para o ano.

Já me hospedei em muitos lugares pelo mundo, mas a Conceição foi a melhor anfitriã até o momento, muito simpática e prestativa. A casa é muito bem cuidada, e nos sentimos totalmente bem recebidos.

Deze accommodatie is absoluut aan te raden! Het contact verliep erg vlot en goed. De omgeving en het uitzicht vanaf het balkon was werkelijk prachtig! Het was ruim, gezellig en schoon en opgeruimd. Ik zou zo weer komen als ik in de buurt ben! Nogmaals bedankt!

We really enjoyed staying in Sousas apartment. Nice and clean. Big bedroom and bathroom with a super nice shower. Everything was new and the elevator right into the apartment was a nice feature. We liked the neighbourhood with supercool restaurants close by and most sights in easy walking distance. Thank you for hosting us.

A true Gem in Porto! Staying at Sonia’s villa in Porto was hands down one of the biggest highlights of my entire trip to Portugal. While I enjoyed many places across the country, Porto truly stood out – and a big part of that was because of this incredible stay. Honestly, I found Porto to be even more charming and enjoyable than Lisbon – cleaner, cozier, and far more relaxed. The villa itself felt like a true home away from home – spotless, thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed even a nice pool, a beautiful view on sunrises and sets and incredibly comfortable. You can tell Sonia genuinely cares about her guests’ experience. Sonia was an exceptional host – always available, super friendly, and incredibly fast with her responses. She gave me fantastic recommendations that made exploring the city even more memorable. I’m already planning to return to Porto, and without a doubt, I’ll be booking with Sonia again. If you’re visiting Porto, this is the place to stay – no question

nous avons été séduits par cet endroit dépaysant, calme et magnifique ! du logement jusqu'aux équipements extérieurs , tout était super ! nos enfants de 11 et 6 ans ont apprécié également l'endroit. un super accueil de l'hôte , nous savons déjà à l'avance que nous reviendrons !!

En general todo muy bien, buen alojamiento, muy maja la anfitriona, piscina muy buena, lo único que está en una zona un poco difícil para conducir y un poco alejado del pueblo sumado a que hay que avanzar un poco más de donde está la ubicación donde ten manda el maps del air bnb pero el sitio impecable, limpieza igual, sala con billar y demás, televisión y aire acondicionado todo perfecto.

Manuel et Fernanda sont des hôtes très agréable, hospitalier, a notre écoute pour tout nos besoins, plein de générosité. En effet, la table de cuisine était pleine de cadeaux : 8 beignets de morue traditionnel Portugais, un récipient entier rempli d'orange juteuse et sucré à souhait, 4 pastels de nata et pour couronner le tout, une bouteille de porto.L'appartement était dans un état de propriété irréprochable. Mon épouse et moi recommandons vivement, pour les amoureux de petit coin tranquille et paradisiaque.

Espaço bastante agradável, com vista privilegiada para a serra, local bastante calmo ideal para um fim de semana de descanso e para fugir da rotina. Cabana bastante limpa e com tudo o que é necessário para um fim de semana.

Anfitriones muy hospitalarios y cercanos. Facilitaron la estancia todo lo posible y muy atentos si necesitábamos algo.

A Casa da Flor é um espaço maravilhoso, rodeado por natureza, jardim, tranquilo e com uma vista linda de cortar a respiração sobre o Rio Tâmega, onde se pode relaxar verdadeiramente, bem como caminhar, nadar na piscina ou praticar SUP no rio com toda a segurança. Há imensos recantos confortáveis onde podemos descontrair a contemplar o Rio, a ler, a descansar. O contacto com a Helena foi sempre muito fácil e responsivo. A casa tem o conforto, higiene e tudo o que uma família precisa para estar bem. É um sítio óptimo para se estar com crianças. As visitas do Bruno (um dos cães da casa) fez as delícias dos meus filhos. Recomendo e vou voltar!

Le airbnb était aussi beau que décrit dans l'annonce, tout a été pensé dans les détails. Nous avons apprécié les nombreuses recommandations et la visite guidée de l'écurie offerte par Cheila. Profiter du jacuzzi en écoutant les oiseaux au milieu de la nature était incroyable. Si vous recherchez un lieu paisible où déconnecter ce lieu est fait pour vous ! Ce airbnb mérite amplement 5 étoiles même si j'ai été attaqué par le chien du propriétaire à notre arrivée, en marchant vers ce que je croyais l'endroit pour récupérer les clefs de la location. Heureusement le chien était attaché au bout d'une chaîne et je m'en suis sortie "seulement" avec quelques égratignures, des bleus et un pantalon déchiré, que Cheila m'a remboursé. Ma seule remarque serait donc d'ajouter une petite pancarte pour signaler le chien qui m'a prise par surprise. Malgré cet incident je recommanderais ce airbnb et y reviendrais avec plaisir.

It was a fantastic stay. I was very surprised. The photos are good, but the place still surprises you in a very good way.

When we arrived at the property we immediately felt relaxed and at peace - the view is simply incredible ! The outside terrace is big with beautiful views and plenty of seating, a BBQ, heated lamps etc. Inside is spacious - a good kitchen, a lovely record player, lots of sofas. The location is great - you are so close to so many amazing outdoor activities - we really enjoyed exploring the rivers, mountain walks and the Lagoons ! Many thanks !

the house is private with amazing views, miguel and his cousin were both very friendly and even offered a late checkout. even with cloudy weather the pool stayed warm enough to enjoy.
