The 200 year old stone cottage has recently been refurbished with all the modern amenities necessary for your comfort. The cottage sits within a fully operational wine & fruit farm offering a first hand view into a local farming operation while enabling rest & relaxation.

Inserted in the Oporto Lemon farm, this cozy stone house, is the perfect place to relax! Nature is everywhere, and there is also the good animal energy as we have ponies and horses on the loose,in a space on the farm with an electric fence, properly signposted, which do not interfere with the dynamics of the house. Vald´arêgos - Cortiço House

CORTIÇO: The apartment overlooking the Douro is named “Cortiço”. It is so called, in homage to honey, a secular food that was also produced on our property, exactly in this place. The family gathered to extract this nectar, laboriously produced by the bees, to serve not only as a delicacy, but also as a home remedy for everyday ailments.
