The space was very clean and very spacious! Very good location close to the airport, very quiet place! Good communication, independent check-in with very good directions! I recommend it!

This was a win for us. So comfy, close to town, everything you could poss need including many hooks and places to put our things. And Kurt was above and beyond accommodating us when we misplaced the house key. Highly recommend this airbnb.

We felt very comfortable in this cozy and modernly furnished house. Since we in the Winter there we appreciated the carport attached directly to the house to get into the house dry at any time. It is centrally located in Lofoten, a supermarket is in the village, in the nearby Leknes there are many more shops. The hosts were always available and gave us tips for seeing the northern lights. This place can be booked without any worries. We sincerely hope to come back one day!

This house is a great place to recharge your batteries while enjoying the boat and the fjord. It's also a very welcoming place in an old typical Norwegian house. We loved warming up by the wood stove and enjoying a good coffee near the fire after a fishing trip or hike! In short, we'll be back!!!

Within ~1 year, this place got 20 five-star reviews. The only reason it hasn't crossed 50 is: Sortland is less popular than mainland Lofoten. The place is not only handled with, but also designed with utmost care. Originally built in 1934, every corner of it carries a meaning that not even an unwatchful guest can ignore. There is family heritage, and there is just the right amount of it. That's where the comfort begins. Living room is smaller than its photos. But with modern furniture & a smart TV, you never run out of indulgence. Kitchen & barbecue hut are well-equipped with utensils and tools for all types of cooking. Bedrooms are comfy, and just right for the cosy cuddles. The grassy, lush outside with a private beach is kept free of bugs by hosts. You can't get enough of the hot tub under starry/green sky! The best part is the proactive hosts who promply fulfill all unmet needs. The house, with all its warmth, keeps luring you. A tough fight against luscious Lofoten!

Niklas is super sweet and welcoming and our stay was just perfect. The apartment is cozy and has a nice Scandinavian design.

We stayed a week, and the location couldn’t be more picturesque. It is in an enclave of three buildings at the end of its own steep fjord, over 1 km inset from the one road connecting it to the rest of civilization. You really get a sense of the solitude that might be typical of so many homes in rural Lofoten or in Knut Hamsun literary works. Despite its isolation, the home – an ADU – had all modern conveniences working fairly well. Cell phone connection in certain weather conditions was sketchy on one or two occasions, but Internet was always strong. Kitchen appliances and climate control all worked well. Wood-burning stove heater had all the fuel you might want. Of course, visitors are very dependent on their car. The nearest shopping or tourist attractions, even gas/electric charge stations and convenience stores, are a 20-25 minute drive away. Finally, the hosts were completely accessible during our 1 week stay.

Very peaceful and quiet place easy to access from E6! It felt like a home away from home.

The home itself is very pretty, clean, open and light space. We really enjoyed it. The view is very serene. There is not very much nearby, nothing within walking distance, but if you're looking for being able to relax and have a good view this is an excellent choice.

Lovely stay in this cabin in Sifjord. It's next to a grocery store that can save you if you are missing something. The cabin was looking exactly like in the pictures. We were 5 people and had all a good experience during our stay. The only downside was that the barbecue mentioned on the page was missing

Very pleasant and warm communication. The apartment is located at the end of a residential area, beautifully in the countryside, and you can set off on a hike directly from the apartment. We even had the rare good fortune to see moose that came into the settlement. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. And the living room is so cosy that you can also spend a real "bad weather" day at home. For many excursions from an accommodation, however, I find it a bit too remote.

Anne Lise is a wonderful, responsive and available host. They helped us with all the information we needed. Nusfjord is a paradise on earth. I couldn't recommend staying in Nusfjord and at Anne Lise's accommodation any more. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, we felt at home. The fact that there is a private parking space at the door is incredible. The local population in Nusfjord is very friendly and helpful. The bakery/bakeri is wonderful, the best in Lofoten. A delight! We were also lucky enough to be visited by a friendly couple of rabbits, who happily hopped through the forest behind the house. Everything is wonderful there! I totally recommend it. Super comfortable and cozy place. It’s an ideal location for surfing (and rentals), hiking and/or getting the world’s best cinnamon rolls across the street. Fun facts, Hermann runs a sheep farm, has a lovely dog named Fly and has written published poetry about sheep farming.

What a wonderful house in a perfect peaceful location great for exploring Andøya.

Super location and exactly as described. We really enjoyed all the amenities, the surroundings and the wildlife around the house such as various bird species. The house has beautiful and fun old accents and accessories that we really found to be an added value. The hot tub was great and super place. Our host Cato always responded super quickly and helpfully. Highly recommended, we hope to come back here again. Regards, Willem

I spent 4 days at Tor Helge’s cabin and had a perfect stay. The place is calm, private, and the view is just amazing! The property goes down to the shore and my dog enjoyed walking up and down to the boat house and smelling the rabbits which I actually saw around. The house is really comfortable with all that you could need. Communication with Tor Helge was very friendly and pleasant and he made sure I had all I needed. He also left a list of places to visit, and I went to most of them, and they were just amazing local gems. I highly recommend staying here and I do hope to come back again in the future.

nice and pleasant stay

Cristina and Rodrigo are two wonderful hosts. The house is spacious, cosy and incredibly equipped with every comfort: the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The location is a bit isolated, but the presence of the charging column for electric cars allows you to visit the Lofoten Islands in peace, knowing that you can recharge your car overnight. We spent a whole week here and we had to leave reluctantly because we really felt at home.

The house is ideally located to visit the different parts of Senja. It has a panoramic view and a beautiful terrace. Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise during the first few days during the day until the beginning of the evening due to work at the neighbors' house, but that was probably an exception.

A very nice little house, with all the amenities you need. clean and nice. central if you, like us, want to hike or hike in the area. We needed to park down by the road because the driveway was steep and icy, and we drove a front wheel drive car that we didn't get up the hill with.
