Herdalssetra has traditional mountain farms in the middle of a beautiful landscape with exciting geology. The mountain farmers lived here in the summers when everyone cared for their own animals, now it can be your turn :) This is Norway's largest goat farm in operation, there are also horses, sheep and cows. There are five buildings on the farm that are from the 1800s. Sauefjøset was renovated in 2023 for rental. There are two double beds (150 cm) - one downstairs and one upstairs on the loft.
