The deck-house and wheelhouse in the back of a former sailing cargo-ship van 1888 is transformed into a small apartment . The rest of the boat is a shop with sailing / marine equipment and a bunker station. The entrance is due to the age of the ship a small steep stair, keep that in mind. The surrounding is a lively harbor with sail-ships and cruise-ships. There is a parking available for €5 - a night very closeby. So enjoy the sound and movements of the water!

The studio is the top floor of our back house, with its own entrance, shower/toilet and kitchenette. The space is 10 by 6 , overlooking the Beringring . It's a 10-minute walk to the bus stop. Bus 314 will take you one way to the historic city of Hoorn and the other way to Amsterdam central. The bus will take 40 minutes there. It is best to buy tickets in advance of your visit to Amsterdam travel tickets so you can use all public transport ( 26/ 33 euros)

Room near Amsterdam & Volendam

You can stay completely self-sufficient in the apartment. It consists of a living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, a total of 50 m2. In the kitchen you will find a ceramic hob with extractor, a fridge, microwave, kettle and a Senseo coffee maker. With your own laptop or smartphone you can use free wired and wireless (WiFi) internet. The stated price is without breakfast. Breakfast service is possible if desired at 10 euros pp

Train and bus station are a few minutes walking. It's easy to reach Amsterdam Centraal and Schiphol airport. Purmerend city centre is very near by. Across the road is Lidl supermarket, with a bakery and lots of tasty ready meals.
