Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Nob Hill, San Francisco

There are SO many reasons this is a great AirBnB. Parking space. Code-able entry. Single-level apt (although one-flight up). Clean and comfortable. Felt like a home, your own. Great family space. Bathrooms, Kitchen, and Bedrooms all just right. Here’s the best part: Zuhra and Sean communicated better than any Host I’ve seen. They made appropriate welcoming remarks, answered typical questions before guests knew to make them, and answered our correspondence promptly. They never made us feel they were imposing themselves on us, yet were absolutely responsive should anything arise. We had a great stay, and this place met all expectations. Masonic is a busy street, with lots of car noise. That is managed by the bedrooms all in the rear and the fact the noise is primarily daytime car traffic. It is not a safety issue. There is a huge sidewalk out front, easy walking, and bus stops on the close corner both directions on Masonic and Fulton. Fantastic.

I had another fabulous stay at Josh's place. I really love the up grade to the bathrooms, just don't forget to bring your shower shoes. There's lots to do and see in this area. I highly recommend staying at Josh's place when visiting San Francisco.

Anna was an amazing host, very responsive and thoughtful throughout my stay. The area was great, with plenty of restaurants nearby and right next to Golden Gate Park. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Also, if you’re planning to work during your stay, there’s a proper office chair which made it really comfortable.

Maria is a wonderful, welcoming host who gives very clear instructions and local recommendations proactively. The place was perfect for my week long stay - Gracias!!

Great place to visit for a few days in SF. Extremely clean and hosts made me feel right at home, even with a little sign welcoming me into their Airbnb. Room was right across from the kitchen, had great Wi-Fi, and a small mini fridge. Had a small issue with the smart lock not working when I first checked in, but Geoffrey responded instantly and helped troubleshoot to let me in - very responsive and was happy to answer questions I had! :)

A great stay! Had all the amenities that I needed and offering some food for the guest was a nice touch. Thank you!

Angela’s place is perfect for being near the city but not deep in it. It’s convenient to the highway without the noise. Neighborhood is peaceful and a short walk to beautiful views in the park. Coffee, bread and jam were offered up in an excellent kitchen. Tub and shower were both nice to come back to at end of long days. Bed was super comfy too. We would come back. Thanks!!

Jimmy was an excellent host and made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. The room was clean and exactly as pictured, the bathroom was clean as well. The stay was quiet and pleasant. I would stay at Jimmy's place again.

This was my second time staying at Erik's place in North Beach and it felt like returning home. This time my wife and kids joined me and it was the perfect setting to launch into adventures around the city. Clean and comfortable accommodations including well stocked kitchen, great neighborhood, and of course the exceptional view from the balcony. Neighborhood features a variety of top notch restaurants and coffee shops. This will always be my first choice for a stay in San Fran!

Kenneth’s place was awesome. It was a quiet neighborhood with cute cafes and restaurants. The Airbnb was well-appointed with an excellent view. We’d definitely recommend!

Barbara was one of the best hosts, if not the best, that I have encountered over my many years of travel. She was responsive to messages and was just so polite and friendly with recommendations and tips for navigating San Francisco. The little touches of snacks and special drinks were really appreciated. The room decorations with the wine histories / business books and mid-century furniture and lighting made for a wonderful space to relax in. The bed was very comfortable.

The cozy casita was absolutely amazing. It was perfect for my weekend getaway. I had plans in emeryville it was very close. The details of the casita were well thought out. I felt the love that was put in. Would definitely stay again.

Supada's place was the perfect spot for what we needed. It was quiet, offered walkable access to everything, and was by far the most reasonably priced Airbnb in the area. Also, Superhost indeed! The communication was always clear and timely. Thank you, Supada!

Emma was extremely responsive and very pleasant and kind to deal with. She had helpful photos of the home and where to enter, including door codes, as well as helpful labels throughout the home! I was impressed with her organization and response time! The fridge went out while we were there, despite being brand new, and Emma refunded us for the groceries we bought that went bad, which I was very happy with. I did think there were two beds in the one bedroom based on the photos, but realized if I had paid more attention I would have known it was the same bed with different blankets. This photo did throw me off. Otherwise, the home is very much as advertised. The area is very safe and walkable with a gorgeous park across the street with lots to do, and great access to multiple forms of transportation. It is also within half an hour of the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, China Town, and other tourist attractions. We had a fantastic trip and would love to come back!

Four of us very much enjoyed our stay at Markus's apartment. The place is ideally located, not far from Mission Dolores Park. In spite of being on a main street, the bedrooms in the back were completely quiet. The apartment has, on the whole, a high-end feel: Thoughtfully, coherently, and stylishly decorated (clean aesthetic with some mid-century modern pieces, uncluttered but not stark); plenty of light, high quality furniture; interesting art. This felt like a home: books on the shelves, well equipped kitchen, stocked with spices, condiments, cooking oil, tea, etc. I could imagine living in this apartment exactly as it is. The host communicated promptly and responsively, accommodated a non-standard check-in time, and generally made himself available. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to staying here again.

Lovely place in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Amazing views if you walk two blocks north. You can walk to the Lyon steps which has lovely views of the bay and stunning homes surrounding it . Fillmore St has a lot of shops and restaurants and is a fairly flat walk from the apartment. Get a croissant at La Boulange on Pine St. absolutely fabulous.

The house is very suitable for families, the surrounding facilities are complete, the only regret is that parking is a little inconvenient.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Modern appliance, extremely spacious, well stocked with top of the line linens etc. Location is top notch as well. We happened to run into Ken who was a gracious host. I would love to stay in this unit when I come back to San Francisco .

C Simply outstanding in every way: this place is true class and comfort in the clouds. The two of us indulged in the glorious views for hours, and then stepped out to easily access San Francisco’s most famous neighborhoods. The penthouse could be the best way ever to love this city. Plus, the decor is amazing and the accommodations met all of our needs. We are so grateful to have spent some time here , and to our host for his ease of communication and hospitality.

Amy met me to give me the keys and walked me through the condo to explain everything. It was a very personal approach. She also reached out to me the first morning to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Everything was spotless and very high end. The place was very quiet and peaceful. I especially enjoyed the patio. I would highly recommend Amy's place to anyone looking for a base to enjoy San Francisco. I intend to stay again the next time I need a place in San Francisco for a few days.

We had the best time in San Francisco and it was largely because of our accommodations at Drew’s place. The location is ideal for touring the city, the quaint roof top happy hour was a nice touch, the bed was super comfortable and the suite was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was helpful with a map and ideas of things to do around the city, and we were able to leave our luggage with the bellhop before check in time. You can’t get better than this place! We would absolutely come back and stay here again.

Really wonderful experience all around. Our hosts were so kind, proactive, and gracious; and the apartment was perfectly clean, well stocked, and comfortable. We had absolutely zero issues with noise or privacy, and were always able to find street parking relatively nearby. We also really appreciated the host's recommendations about restaurants and local things to do. We were traveling with our 8 month old, and the hosts were able to provide us with a travel crib and high chair. Would absolutely stay again!
