Nhu and the whole team welcomed us with great kindness. The bungalow is superb, faithful to the photos, the pool located in the back very clean and pleasant when returning from the excursions. The garden is flowery and green. Goats frolicking on the cliff! A real favorite... Many restaurants in the neighborhood, we recommend the Nha Hang huy hoa 10 minutes walk to the left as the others are disappointing. Thanks again, Nhu, we will keep a wonderful memory of our stay!

Our stay at the Wooden Gate in Ninh Binh truly exceeded our expectations! The staff were so lovely and welcoming — from the start, they made us feel right at home. We really appreciated the flexible check-in time, which allowed us to arrive early and settle in without any stress. The room was super private and peaceful, with a great balcony where we could relax and enjoy the surroundings. The location is also perfect — they provide free bikes to ride around the area, and it’s not far from Mua Cave. The local town is just a 5-minute motorbike ride away, which made everything super convenient. They helped us rent a motorbike and gave us great local recommendations, which really enhanced our experience. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and very filling — such a nice touch to start the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would definitely come back next time we’re in Ninh Binh! Minh was a great host! The place is situated close to main attractions without being in the middle of tourist traps. Free bicycle use was a huge plus and definitely the cleanest room I’ve encountered on my trip. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for some peace and quiet.
