On the outskirts of the city but so quiet in the middle of the meadows, you are most welcome in our AirBNB on the quay... From the window of the upper floor of the renovated barn, which is located next to our farm, you have a view of the Cabauwse mill, and if you are lucky the stork will be brooding across the street. Aan de Kaai is in (Cabauw/Lopik) on the border of the province of Utrecht and Zuid Holland. In the middle of the Groene Hart of the Utrecht Waarden and the Krimpenerwaard.

Boven twee slaapkamers onder een schuin dak, voorzien van eigen wasbak en spiegel, en een lief klein kamertje met een commode en ledikantje. Water-Meadow cottage in central Holland 2-4P

The cottage is a renovated barn in the back, overlooking the meadows in the beautiful area of Schoonrewoerd. The 1 bedroom cottage is fully equiped , Kitchen, Bathroom and a 2nd toilet. It is 60 sq/m big and can host up to 4 people. Ideally 2 adults & 2 children, but 4 adults is possible (for a few days) but it might be a bit crowdy. You can enjoy your own private garden near the water, you will have easy and private access to the cottage via the right side of our farmhouse.

Along meadows with knot willow you drive into a cozy village. At the church, take a dead end road. Soon you will reach a black cottage surrounded by greenery; our guesthouse "De Hooischuur". Even when entering the detached cottage, it immediately feels like coming home. And that's exactly the feeling we want to give you. Our characteristic hay barn in 2018 is equipped with many comforts and gives you the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The barn is decorated with care with care with a nod to the farm history that is so typical of this region. The barn with every comfort and you will enjoy the distant polder face from the breakfast table. In good weather, just step into your private garden. On the ground floor you have a kitchen with dining table, living room and toilet, shower with a double sink at your disposal. Upstairs there are two bedrooms (without heating) with both a double bed.

Rural location, peace, space and alpacas

In the guesthouse you immediately feel the relaxing atmosphere. Through the use of natural materials and the view of the garden and the animals, you can really experience the countryside. Outside, you can encounter all kinds of animals, like a hare or a pheasant. And of course the chickens and the alpacas. On the lounge set you see from the guesthouse, you can relax. You walk right into the meadow to get to know the alpacas up close.

Rural apartment

Feel at home in our cosy apartment in the middle of the rural Nieuwland. A beautiful view of the polder and over 'de Vliet'. It is a good starting point for bike rides along the Linge or a day fishing on one of the many fishing spots nearby. Of course you can also just 'stay at home' because the apartment has everything for a relaxing stay. The apartment is nicely furnished and equipped with all modern comforts.
