Anne-Marie was a superb welcoming host who met us at check in and provided some great advice for local restaurants. The place is very well decorated, which the photos do not do justice to. Finally, the village surrounds are absolutely stunning, and Anne-Marie's place is very well located with only a short stroll into the centre. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Anne-Marie's place.

The little cottage was very cozy and quiet. We enjoyed eating in front of the patio door and looking out into the garden. There are a few chickens there, which we enjoyed a lot. The two cats visited us from time to time, we liked that very much. Sara and Steven were very friendly and always answered our questions very quickly. Thank you again for that. Tienhoven is a beautiful little village, we felt very comfortable there.

Lovely house on the water

The house is beautifully located on a dike. The neighborhood is very quiet. You can park on the street for a small fee. Amsterdam and Utrecht can be reached very quickly. Hairlem, a great city, and the beach in the west are also within 1 hour by car. We enjoyed the time very much. There is everything you need in the house. Everything is absolutely uncomplicated. And of course, the water directly in front of the house is particularly great. You can immediately switch off, put on your swimsuit and jump into the water. Overall it was a wonderful week.

Marjan's space is exceptional, exactly as described and in the photos of the listing. It was extremely clean and is super cozy, we felt at home. Marjan was very attentive and there were several tips for restaurants and tours available. The location is not close to the centre of Amsterdam (40 minutes by car or 1h-1h30 by public transport), however, it was not a problem.
