(North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest cottages line the path. No crowds of tourists. (They're in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquillity and beauty of the historic village of Giethoorn. This wonderfully cosy cottage is located in a beautiful spot on the outskirts of Noordwolde in Friesland, where there are plenty of birds. Fully furnished, with a cosy pellet stove and a wood-burning stove, this is truly a place to unwind! The cottage has its own fenced garden with a wood-fired Finnish sauna and is adjacent to a forest where you can take a pleasant walk. You can also walk from the cottage to a lovely swimming lake in about 20 minutes.
