Close to nature in a beautiful house with garden / 10 beds

The old house is situated in a small village on the edge of the Bergisches Land, a stone's throw away from the Westerwald. The house has been renovated over the past few years; only the façade is still missing. There are six rooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen, a living room in the attic, and a large property (approx. 2,000 m²). The cottage is quietly located on the outskirts of a 300-person village, there is no thoroughfare, the main noises are the occasional bleating of the neighbour's sheep.

The apartment on the first floor is located on a hill near Rosbach quietly at the end of the settlement. Walking paths in the picturesque surroundings are 5 minutes away and in the lovingly maintained garden a terrace with a view is reserved for guests. Access to the garden is from the parking space. We live on the ground floor of the house and look forward to meeting you or a friendly greeting in the garden. We are hosting again because we have had wonderful experiences with travel ourselves.

Historical House in Schladern

Close to the Sieg river and waterfall, our home was built in 1897 by Elmore's for the company gardener. In 2010 we acquired this historical property and have been slowly and lovingly restoring it ever since. We have made many happy memories with friends and family here and have seen our children grow up along the way. We're now happy to offer our home comprising two double bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, winter garden, living and dining room for others to enjoy and love as much as we do.

Circus Wagon Star Tent with Sauna

The circus trailer was built by me according to a historical model. Due to the two bay windows and the attached pavilion, it is very spacious. The antique Norwegian wood stove provides cozy warmth. The bed offers plenty of space. The kitchen is well equipped, you can cook and bake to your heart's content. In the evening you can make a campfire under the huge old ash tree or use the sauna. Beautiful forest paths start around the corner. You'll love this special and romantic place.

Sunny holiday apartment in a historic half-timbered building with a modern, open-plan design spread over three open-plan levels, nestled in a village setting close to nature. During the complete renovation in 2021, particular emphasis was placed on organic building materials. Works of art and found objects of all kinds give the accommodation a distinctive character with a high feel-good factor. It is possible to live or sleep with low radiation levels; Wi-Fi can be switched off.

Vacation in a half-timbered house

Our half-timbered house, completely renovated in 2020, is part of a larger half-timbered ensemble. It combines historic flair with a modern ambiance. The overall high-quality facilities leave nothing to be desired. Our village of Geilhausen is scenically nestled on the upper Sieg and has its own train connection. The banks of the Sieg, the forests and heights of the Westerwald and the Bergisches Land invite you to hike and cycle via the Sieg and Westerwald nature trails.

Schladern - Large home, private

Dog-friendly home. ENTIRE HOUSE: If you'd like to book the entire house, no problem. Only possible with a booking of 9 or more guests. CORONA UPDATE: To limit risks of transmission, I have moved to an apartment in the cellar. The kitchen and dining/living rooms may be used at any time. These former "communal areas" are now private during your stay - just for you. 4 bedrooms (each sleeps up to 3 people, more if you don't mind being a bit squeezed) and 2 full baths.

Circus wagon on the sheep pasture

Surrounded by trusting sheep, our circus wagon stands under a roof of maple trees. An exceptional place to stay with panoramic views for 1–2 adults. Sheep cuddling included! If you want to hike, cycle or slow down, you are in the right place in Windecker Ländchen. The circus trailer is located on a separate property behind our house on our sheep pasture. Private access & parking available. Every 30 minutes S-Bahn connection to Cologne (1 hour to the Koelnmesse).

1 room by the forest perfect for hiking

There's nothing here but lots of nature! For hiking or cycling, you have a perfect starting point from our AirBnb (20 sqm with private bathroom), but it is also great to just snuggle in for a weekend. You need a car here! It is 8 minutes to the nearest bakery where you can have a nice breakfast, as well as to shops Edeka/ Penny 8 minutes, the nearest Lidl /Aldi / Rewe/ DM is 12 minutes away Bonn 45 - 60 min Cologne Bonn Airport 45 min Cologne 1 h - 1.5 h
