Olbrück Castle is in sight and in walking distance. The Maar on site and numerous paths invite you to walk. Maria Laach Abbey is 20 minutes away by car, Nürburgring 25, Koblenz and Bonn about 40, Cologne 60 minutes. A car is necessary, only buses run to a limited extent.
