Burg Olbrück ist in Sichtweite und fußläufig erreichbar. Das Maar am Ort und zahlreiche Wege laden zum Spaziergang ein. Zur Abtei Maria Laach sind es 20 Min. mit dem Auto, Nürburgring 25, Koblenz und Bonn ca. 40, Köln 60 Min. Ein Auto ist nötig, nur eingeschränkt fahren Busse. Abfahrt des Vulkanexpress im Nachbarort.
