Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

On 125 m² of living space over 2 levels, a maximum of 8 people can be accommodated and it is ideal for 1-2 families. Your dog is welcome. Thatched Cottage by the Lake

Welcome to our terp in Waygaard near the lake Botschlott. The accommodation is a traditional thatched farmhouse flat with a view overlooking the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marshes. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can canoe, cycle and watch the flocks of birds that use the partly protected lake as a migration and nesting site. The house was carefully restored with natural materials in 2025/2026

Beautiful studio apartment

Our beautiful 1-room apartment in the commercial area is on the second floor and can be reached via an external staircase. It is built a little special and therefore quite unique and very comfortable. An open living, sleeping and kitchen area awaits you. In addition, there is a walk-in closet and a storage room. There is also a sunny balcony. Weekend and short breaks are welcome here.

Vacation home in Sylt

Our accommodation is located directly on the dike and close to the Südwesthörn swimming area. The quiet secluded location and cul-de-sac location allows our little guests to play safely in front of our house and dike. Especially the healthy salt and iodine-containing air will help all guests with breathing problems to breathe well again.

For your holiday or weekend trip, I offer my charming, lovingly furnished holiday apartment "Nordlicht" in Süderlügum. It is an attic-level, one-bedroom, self-contained apartment with a separate entrance, accessible via an external staircase at the rear of the residential building.
