“Bathroom amenities are top level. The bed was super cozy & they have beach supplies for you to use such as chairs and an umbrella! A/C runs great(too good lol) and the house is about 5 mins from all the great stuff on the beach. Will definitely be back if/when I return to Daytona. Thanks again Ruth!”

“We came from Orlando and this was the perfect spot to stay Saturday night on the coast. Right across the street from Chases and the beach. LoNapa is also a few steps away and delicious!! The Garlic is a five min drive up the road. Small space but they made it super functional. We preferred this to a hotel as we liked the local vibe and location. Also really enjoyed the record player (:”

“This is by far the best vacation rental we have stayed in, and we’ve stayed in quite a few! My expectations are almost unreasonable when it comes to cleanliness, but the hideaway was immaculate inside and out. We had hoped to arrive mid day, but our travel was slowed down and we ended up arriving at night. It may sound strange, but I would almost recommend arriving at night to see how beautifully the house is lit and landscaped. It looked magical. There was a thoughtful snack basket and refreshments in the fridge, which were really nice after a full day on the road. The kitchen is very well equipped with cookware that’s in good shape. I cooked every day we were there and it was no less convenient than cooking at home. My only note would be that there are no pantry staples in the kitchen, aside from salt and pepper - so bring your own oils and seasonings! We only went to the beach once - parking was easy to find, but about $20 a pop. Frankly-with the beautiful pool area and outdoor tub, we didn’t miss the beach that much. The pool was much larger than expected, very clean, and great for kids since the deepest area was 4.5’. There’s really nothing they haven’t thought of at the Hideaway. Even though it’s near a busy street, it doesn’t seem that way when you’re relaxing at the pool. They’ve done a great job making it feel secluded. It was just what we needed! The hosts were very communicative, although we didn’t really need for anything while we were there – they still checked in to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Unrelated to the hideaway - do yourself a favor and cross over the bridge and hit Mon Delice bakery for a chocolate croissant and dark chocolate macarons.”
