For hiking or cycling, you have a perfect starting point from our AirBnb (20 square meters with private bathroom), but it is also great to just wrap up for a weekend. Please note: The nearest bakery where you can have a nice breakfast, as well as shopping, is an 8-minute drive away. Located in a small village in the countryside about 5 km from the nearest main town - ideal for hiking or cycling in the adjacent nature reserve or in the idyllic Siegtal. Nature lovers and hikers/cyclists are in the right place with us. Since the annex is difficult to heat, we do not rent in the winter months.

Our apartment is located directly on the forest in the beautiful landscape of the WESTERWALD. Close to Obererbach lies the excellent WESTERWALD STEIG and other charming hiking, cycling and motorcycle trails, ideal for day trips. Our village Obererbach belongs to the district Altenkirchen. The Obererbach railway connection (one stop to the centre) is within walking distance of the village. You can reach the nearest shopping facilities in about 3.5 km by car.

If you've always wanted to relax in a beautifully restored half-timbered house from 1612, you've come to the right place. Nestled in the historic old town of the town of Hachenburg, you will find the ideal environment for day trips to the Westerwald lake district, a few stages on the Westerwaldsteig or a visit to the Marienstatt Monastery with a brewery and great beer garden.

It consists of a living-dining room with oven, a small kitchen, a bedroom with double bed, a small bathroom with shower and window, and a reading room. This includes a small terrace with marquise and a 500 sqm garden. It's not completely fenced! Adjacent is a large nature reserve, which adjoins the forest. It is located in a small village, the forest is 150 meters away.

You can shop in Altenkirchen, about 5 km away, or in Hachenburg with its historic old town.

We offer a small accommodation in an old half-timbered house in the beautiful Westerwald. It's located on the first floor. We almost completely renovated it ourselves with love for detail. By arrangement, the garden with fireplace can be used. Look forward to seeing you! I live here on the farm with my wife, children and parents. That's why it's lively here:)
