The Hunter House is a private holiday home in the Cederberg that is surrounded by blossoms, flowers and Namaqualand daisies in the spring. Summer brings the sound of the sun beetles and fresh peaches next to your holiday home. The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar. Our unpretentious Karoo destination is a place to change gears and experience the charms of a dorper farm: open plains, rocky- & rolling hills, vivid sunsets and our own stream - sometimes even with water. Farm-trails take hikers up close and personal with Karoo nature and Karoo agriculture. At night, the clear unobstructed sky hosts Milky Way magic. The cottage has a fridge, solar geyser & power (220VAC), gas stove, indoor braai-fireplace and ¾-bed for a third person or two small children.
