From the cabin there are many great hiking opportunities, kayaking, diving, fishing, etc. To Hanshelleren, which is a unique climbing area, it is about 4 km. 7 km from the cabin there is a shop with a good selection of goods and a restaurant.

Welcome to our guest house at Namsenfjorden. We are pleased that people enjoy their stay here on our farm. They give feedback that they find peace and that the place has a lot to offer. In the guest house it is nice to just be, or you can go in the woods, on the mountain, along the highway or explore the sea life (boat/canoe/kayak) and try your luck at fishing. The Zanzibar Inn restaurant is also located at the edge of the jetty. At Lauvsnes there is also a fast charger for electric cars. The apartment is bright and modern and fully equipped with dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, freezer, hairdryer, etc. There are 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each room. The cabin was completed in August 2021 and is very modernly furnished with everything you need. The view of the World Heritage Vega and the sunsets in the sea is unbeatable. The cabin is located alone without neighbors and is a great starting point whether you just want to enjoy the silence, go for a walk on one of the many hiking trails on Leka, rent the host's boat or kayak or cycle a trip to see the famous Ørnerovet. Huset er en over 100 år gammel luftig hus, opprinnelig en jernbanebolig. Med stor takhøyde og bygget i kraftig laftet tømmer. Huset består av en hovedetasje med gang, toalett, bad, stue og kjøkken. Fra kjøkkenet er det utgang til terrassen. I andre etasje ligger de tre soverommene.
