Monthly Rentals in Mowbray

Our stay was just perfect. Barbara was a very considerate, thoughtful and responsive host. Everything from check-in to amenities and local attractions was well articulated. The house is very private and secluded (in a small enclave of Oak Beach) with the main house not too close, about 20 metres away with screening etc. The house was just magic per the photos, the living areas are so large and open. The beautiful beach is only a few minutes walk away and the drive into Port Douglas is about 15 minutes north, although if you head south to Cairns there are currently many roadworks on the way with short wait times due to one lane only. We spent most of our time in Port Douglas and above. There are also some local walks to waterfalls available. We only used the pool once, it was large and nice (it is shaded by the tall forest this time of year), note the pool is closer to the main house than it is to the AIRBNB house, but this is not an issue in anyway. This apartment was exactly as described in a lovely tropical resort. Room was spotlessly clean. Host was very friendly and always responsive. Would recommend this home to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Zen Den it was zensational. The room is fitted out with everything you could need and more (sunscreen, bug spray, cotton buds etc.). The use of the Ramada facilities were great, the were staff super helpful and the food and drinks were not unseasonably priced. If your up for a good walk, you can walk into Port Douglas town in under an hour. Julie is an excellent communicator and the bottle of sparkling is a beautiful welcome. I highly recommend a stay at the Zen Den!

We really enjoyed our stay at Macrossan House. Fantastic location in the middle of town, an easy walk to cafes, restaurants, shops and marina yet still quiet and restful. Great BBQ and pool facilities. Hosts were really helpful and proactive - contacting us after booking to see if they could arrange airport pick up &drop off. Thanks for a great stay - we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
