This was a serene and lovely home base for us to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor. Our hosts were friendly, clear, and responsive; the home was gorgeous and perfectly maintained; and the woods were gorgeous and peaceful. My kids (9 and 11) both said one of their favorite parts of our entire trip was that they each had their own little loft space. We would highly recommend!

JC’s Place was clean, cozy, and ideally located for exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor. Quiet, comfortable, and surrounded by nature—it was the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Mount Desert Island!

This place was amazing! The location is off the beaten path but still close enough to everything you need. The house/cabin was the perfect size, great kitchen, awesome to have the luxury of a washer and dryer and nothing could be the view. We definitely will be back!
