Loved the place and the location. 20ish min drive from the Great Sand Dunes. House was clean and host was responsive as well as accommodating. Gaming console was an added bonus, took right back to my childhood. I would love to stay here again on my next visit.

Donnie’s place was absolutely beautiful and she squeezed us in so nicely on short notice. She was super attentive and I loved her separate house she has for her guests. The best part of this place was how COMFY the bed was. So soft. I would recommend to bring your own food and she has a coffee pot in there too very convenient.

We came to the San Luis Valley to visit family. We came from Kansas and Oklahoma. The house far exeeded expectations. It was very stocked, kitchen had everything to cook. I did an apple pie and forgot nutmeg. I found some in the cabinet! The yard was perfect for the children. We did all the local things: aligator farm, pool, sand dunes, and even drove up to Monarch Mountain to snow tube. The dark skies, sunrises and sunsets, were perfection. The home feels so warm and welcoming. We loved our stay here and highly recommended.
