It belongs to an ensemble of several historic natural stone buildings that have been lovingly restored and provide a great natural experience right in the heart of the Eifel, without sacrificing relaxed luxury. The EIFEL HOUSE is directly adjacent to the EIFEL SUITE anno 1846. When booking both accommodations, the lockable connecting door can be opened and a large, great accommodation for a total of up to 8 guests is created.

Treat yourself to a visit to our half-timbered house Anno 1690, renovated in 2019, in the very quiet old town of Stromberg, right by the Schlossbrunnen fountain below the 3 castles. The kitchen on the 2nd floor is excitingly located in the former battlement of the city wall. The medieval building still has the typical steep oak stairs and the ceiling height is outside the norm. Cozy stay in the house and as a starting point for hikers & bikers....for relaxation and adventure...

We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible. Enjoy your own hideaway with a large sun terrace, the old half-timbered but modern facilities. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal.
