We had a great time. Everything was in perfect condition, clean and carefully maintained. The equipment is of very good quality and designed for the comfort of travellers — nothing is missing. The house is also ideally located, which allowed us to fully enjoy the surroundings. A big thank you to our host for hosting us and for his availability. We would definitely recommend this listing!

A dreamlike house in the idyll of west France! We had a wonderful time as a family in the beautiful house Colibri in Médis. We are very thankful for Hélène and Delphine being warmly welcoming to us and tremendously friendly, uncomplicated and extremely helpful. Very pleasant stay in François' beautiful villa, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, with a superb quiet terrace and heated pool. I highly recommend it, ideal for a family stay where young and old have fun at will.

The house was superb - spacious, smart and very well-equipped in every respect. It has a lovely pool, pool house and poolside lounging area, which our children and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. Its location in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer is great, with one beach (Plage du Platin) within easy walking distance and others (Grand Coté, Bureau and Nauzan) just a little further away. There is a good boulangerie (which serves pizzas in the evening) and a seafood supplier just 5 minutes walk away. We would be very happy to stay with Catherine again and thoroughly recommend the house.

Fab place. We loved the use of the kayaks, and the pool was great. Very comfy beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Only a 6 mins drive to a hypermarket and very quiet roads . Tony was very helpful and friendly. We would come again. Thoroughly recommend.

The accommodation is spacious and suitable for children. The location is perfect because it is close to very beautiful beaches. Lydie is responsive and attentive. We'll be happy to go back!

Excellent family stay in a very nice house! The bedding is of high quality, and the indoor pool is really superb. Everything is perfectly safe for children, which is very reassuring. Everything is designed for their development. The terrace was particularly appreciated. The whole place is modern and friendly: we highly recommend this place for a good little family break. Clean, tidy "cabin spirit" accommodation. Bright, spacious, exotic accommodation. Many activities around to do such as visit the citadel and the city of Château d'Oleron, the beach and many paths in the woods.

Ideal accommodation for a stay by the sea. Good location. Pleasant, comfortable house and the most of the outdoor and enclosed garden the children really enjoyed. We'll be happy to go back! And thank you again to Lydie for the local products.

We only stayed one night, but the accommodation is nice, there is an option to park in front as well. Count for the rental of sheets €15 per bed and €7 for a towel

I would recommend Thierry's place, very clean,very quiet in the back of a cul-de-sac, shop nearby. Thierry is very welcoming, and when I come back to the area , I will come back to his place.

We had a good holiday in this large, recent, clean, pleasant and well-appointed house. The bedding is very well made and comfortable. Shops are a 10-minute walk away (bakery, fresh produce, Intermarché, etc.). Our 2 cars were parked in a private and secure location adjacent to the accommodation. We did not take advantage of the jacuzzi, which was operational and in good condition, due to lack of time. We recommend this house for a large family wanting to visit the Royanna region (so much to discover!).

We rented Virginie's accommodation as accommodation for one night for a wedding and it was ideal. Comfortable and well-equipped, we will remember the address to come back for a holiday as a couple on occasion :) the surrounding villages are very beautiful and the estuary offers beautiful landscapes. I recommend it!

Jean-Pierre is a very attentive host! Always smiling, even on the phone, and very welcoming and helpful! We enjoyed the accommodation which was as described and as pictured, but we were unable to enjoy the pool as much as we would have liked, which is very nice, well maintained and clean. It's close enough to everything, St Palais, Royan and Palmyre are just minutes from Jean-Pierre's. Thank you Jean-Pierre for your hospitality and kindness, we will recommend your accommodation! Beautiful address at the port of Meschers in a quiet environment, even if the restaurants and the port are a few steps from the rental. The house is even better in real life than in the photos! Very spacious, well equipped, everything is there for a good time spent with family!

Christine’s home is a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of mornac, but within a short walk of the beautiful village centre. We loved the beautiful decoration of the property, and the calmness and tranquility. Christine was friendly and very helpful, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her home for a break on the Seudre.

Very quiet place, very clean, perfect for a romantic getaway.

Fantastic location lovely house so convenient for everything local and well placed for trips further afield. Lots of room in the house and plenty to do. Quiet and spacious garden with lovely pool. Fully equipped kitchens both indoor and outdoor. BBQ under verandah and perfect for eating outside if desired. Some lovely original creative art work in the house with games and entertainment in different rooms. Up to date technology for tvs and audio. Lovely heated pool with swim resistant jet and graduated depth. Young children would need flotation aids and adult supervision however. Wonderful fig tree in garden with ripe juicy figs in September during our stay. Alain was the perfect host and went out of his way to accommodate our timings and an early departure to ease our very long journey home.

We had a great family weekend at Valerie's house. The accommodation is very close to the center but quiet. The house is very nice, new with a nice garden. We were able to do everything on foot (beach, restaurants, walks, shopping). Communication was very easy because the owners live right next door. Short perfect stay!
