The interior is simple and harmonious with fine colours and authentic materials that create a warm and intimate atmosphere. Invites peace and quiet. No TV. There are great opportunities for outdoor activities both summer and winter; swimming, boating, hiking trails, top tours and skiing/alpine skiing at Gautefall ski resort. With us, you can find peace and quiet in the countryside. Here, you can travel back in time in a timber house built in 1940. The house has recently been renovated and furnished with a combination of new and old interior items. Historical surroundings. If you're lucky, you can see wild animals right by the cabin. Nice hiking trails nearby. Tveitgrendløypa (2 min from the cabin) is popular in summer, and has spectacular views of mountains and fjords. Kviteseid is a cozy little town centre with shops and cafes. Swimming opportunities in the fjords in summer.
