Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Montfrin

Our stay with Marie and François in Ménerbes was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for and warmly welcomed. The property itself is beautifully rustic, with an understated charm that reflects its authenticity. The apartment, housed within the stone walls of a 12th-century structure, offered a unique experience, particularly for those with an appreciation for history. We were especially delighted by the presence of the resident cats in the garden, which added a warm and homely touch to the idyllic atmosphere. Dinner was of outstanding quality, and the breakfast, though light, was well suited to the setting and our expectations. We would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking peace, character, and a genuine connection with the Provençal way of life.

The location was 15 minutes drive from Arles town centre. The Loft was clean on arrival and the host provided all necessary utensils, linen, towels and a "starter kit" (eg. toilet paper, soap, shampoo, BBQ charcoal and lighter, etc). Access to the Loft was timely and by security Key Code, making it flexible to enter on late arrival. Pool and gardens were well maintained. Baby cot and high-chair were supplied. Florence, our concierge, was very helpful and proactive in answering all our questions in advance. Instructions for arrival and departure were clear and timely.

A corner of heaven! I was looking for the charm of old stones, nature, the tree-lined garden and the functionality of a modern home, I was captivated, it was perfect! We stayed with our 2 children aged 6 and 8, the dream for them. I was afraid that the pool would be too small but not at all, it is larger than in the photos, they had fun there for 5 days without getting tired. I often rent on Airbnb and rarely find gems like this place.

Every little thing was perfection! The space was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Located on a country road, it was quiet and private. . Lovely farmhouse with antique details, yet modern and light. Jessie and Andy are superb hosts and responded to all questions and requests quickly. Such a lovely family with the 2 girls and two pups—fell completely in love with Tya, an English Springer Spaniel. Great location to visit all the sweet towns and villages of Provence. Would go back in a New York minute!

C18 mill of great charm, surrounded by lovely garden, all restored and brought to life by Isabelle. Utterly peaceful. Within 10 minutes' drive from unspoilt village with excellent food shopping to provide for delicious meals in the garden, serenaded by nightingale and turtle dove. Bats and tuneful frogs in the evenings. Beautiful walks from the door along dusty lanes with verges full of wild flowers. Avignon, Orange, Glanum, Nimes, Camargue all within driveable distance. Isabelle could not have been more friendly and welcoming and we hope to visit again one day.

We had a great stay in this beautiful villa. There is all the necessary equipment. Thanks to the air conditioning, the inside of the house (including the bedrooms) remains fresh so very pleasant to sleep in. Pretty terrace with a pool. The photos match reality. Justine welcomed us very warmly. She was responsive by message during the stay when we had any questions. We would recommend this house.

We had the most incredible stay at this 3-bedroom townhome in Avignon! The home itself was absolutely wonderful—full of charm, character, and comfort. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the breathtaking views that made every morning and evening feel like a dream. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short, scenic walk to local restaurants and the main square, which made exploring Avignon so easy and enjoyable. Whether we were relaxing at the home or out discovering the city, everything about our stay felt special. Highly recommend this beautiful property to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in the heart of Provence. We truly didn’t want to leave!

excellent stay, incredible accommodation in terms of comfort and taste, only downside the noise of the jacuzzi engine but good it does not prevent you from enjoying it fully, I highly recommend

Nino and Christine's accommodation was very spacious and offered plenty of space for our family of four. The kitchen was very well equipped and had a large refrigerator and plenty of work space. The apartment was very clean. We spent wonderful hours in and around the pool. This was generous, had a flat entrance for children and the water was very clean and pleasantly warm. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, in the beautiful main village square, right in the centre of Uzès. It was peaceful, comfortable and the apartment was bright and cozy. It had a little outdoor balcony which was a nice bonus. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity of staying in this delightful place and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Second stay at Sébastien's, we are still delighted. Perfect for a baby or child, with green space, animals. For us who live in the city centre, the calm did us good, the change of scenery, the barbecue on the terrace too. In short, never two without three 😊

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the beautiful place. The home was amazing, peaceful and quiet, comfortable, and it had everything we needed. We used it as a home base to take day trips to explore the area. A very nice walk up to Les Baux gave spectacular views. We definitely recommend this magical place. It is centrally located and you can easily reach all Provence has to offer. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks!

This is an absolutely exceptional rental - the very best place I have stayed in many years of travel! The property is larger than in the photos, very tastefully decorated, equipped with high quality finishings, dishes, appliances, linens, etc. The yard is exceptional- views from the large pool are stunning. Very friendly and helpful hosts - always responsive and good natured! The sent us many recommendations that enhanced our stay. Flexible on check in and check out. What a dream stay -we really hope to be back one day soon !

My family and I had a wonderful stay in St Maximin. The property is even better than the photos portray and is perfect for families of all sizes. We had an extended stay for the month of May and it was very comfortable for the whole month, both in the colder earlier days and the more summer like end of the month. There is also lots to do in the local area, Uzes is a great town with lots of restaurants and a Saturday market which we enjoyed visiting. St Maximin also has two fantastic restaurants and lots of great walks in the surrounding countryside. There are towns to visit like Arles, Nimes or Avignon which are slightly further but well worth a visit. We would very much like to return to the house in the future and would recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting St Maximin and Uzes.

Pierre’s home was paradise! He met us there for check in and check out. The home was well stocked, from the kitchen to the music collection (both of which we thoroughly enjoyed). The views and sunsets were incredible from the home. We loved opening the windows and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of throughout the day, we even chose to enjoy two dinners at the home. The bed was comfortable and the home was easy to keep at an ideal temperature. We explored the area very easily from the convenient location. Fab place, great social spaces for our group. The location was gorgeous. Lisa was very accommodating and let us check in two hours early and communicated well throughout. We all enjoyed our stay at the house and thought it was very reasonably priced. The parking area is very tight behind the gate if you’re driving a large people carrier, so takes a little while to park, but still serves its function well. A neighbour dealt with us during our stay - only speaks French - so good to keep this in mind if you don’t have a member / speak French yourself. Luckily one of our party spoke French, so it was fine. The neighbour wasn’t very warm but definitely didn’t take away from a beautiful place in a gorgeous village and a great stay. It was clean, the pool and games were fab, and the BBQ was brilliant. Definitely recommend the local cafe / pub for drinks in the evening too, it’s gorgeous!

An absolute oasis in Gordes! We loved having al fresco dinners and morning cappuccinos throughout the property. The pool was divine!

This house and the surrounding grounds are amazing. This was the most impressive AirBnB we have ever stayed in. We stayed here for one week for a family gathering. It is as big (or bigger) than the pictures show. The house is beautiful and modern. The grounds are spectacular. They even have 8 small tortoises on the premises which the kids loved to feed. The pool is huge. You feel like you are on the grounds of a palace. Additionally, Najet and her husband were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay in the south of France.
